Trying to Understand How Tickets & Entitlements are Assigned in MDE

I was clicking around in my MDE account and came across the MagicBands and Cards section of My Account and I noticed that the 5-day MYW tickets I used 2 years ago are showing as active along with my MNSSHP tickets for later this year.

So why are used up 5-day tickets still showing as active? Can I theoretically use the old hard tickets to enter MNSSHP since they're linked to me and active? In other words, does the RFID code on the hard ticket simply link an entitlement to your profile on MDE, but then you can use any active card to redeem the entitlement?

When booking FPs, are they assigned to specific cards or profiles in MDE? Can you use any active card linked to your profile to tap in the FP line (as long as it's the same card used to enter the park)?

You don't need to use a ticket in order to use your FP on rides. . I book my FP but i get into the park free because my Uncle works there so I never use the non expiring tickets I purchased years ago. But having them on my MDE allows me to book FP. And everytime the Uncle gets me into the park for free I am able to simply tap my MB in order to use my FB. So it does not have to be the same ticket that got you into the park.

I thought if the magicband/card used to tap into FPs is not the same one used to enter the park, the system would flag your MDE for abuse and permanently lock it?

The FPs are linked to specific Profiles where valid ticket entitlements are also linked.

A hard plastic ticket functions exactly like a MagicBand for park entrance and FP lines.

Maybe its because i am using a cast members ticket but I have done this on multiple visits the past several years and not had any issues at all. Just did last week and plan to next month as well.

A comp ticket and not a Guest Pass?

One use of FPs booked on a Guest Pass that was not used for park entry locks the CM’s account. Disney is really tightening up on the Extra FP usage if the ticket media was not used at the park entrance.

Just to make sure I'm clear, if I link a new mailed hard ticket to my MDE profile, I could theoretically use any active card linked to my profile to enter the park even if it was previously used to redeem used-up tickets?

Yes. They will always function as your ‘link’ to your MDX data.
