Looking at the weather for next week: the low temps are 59 or 60. We won't be out super late (fireworks first night, Fantasmic dessert package second night, WOC first show on the third night). Should I bring pants for the kids or just keep them in shorts with jackets? I am trying to get away with not packing a lot of stuff, so I only want to take what we'll need. I think I am just going to stick with my bermuda shorts for me (since they're not that much shorter than capris...) and dh is never cold, so shorts will be fine for him. I already have jackets set aside for all four of us. I just don't know what to pack for the kids for the evenings....

Night time temps all have to do if the fog comes in our not. I live up near Santa Cruz and 59/60 degrees with the fog in can feel chilly. I've been looking at temps for the same time you're going and it looks like the weather will be like what we are having here. At night here I want pants or capris and light sweatshirt/hoodie.
If the fog stays out to sea 60 degrees at night is very comfy. The last time I checked the weather it said that Wed. was going to be a start to a warming trend so hopefully the fog won't roll in. Although we don't a heat wave either. Who knows? Our weather in California has been crazy this year.
Of coarse with the crush of people I'm expecting next week DLR might be creating it's own body heat heat wave! These reports of big crowds have me scared!:scared1:

Are there supposed to be big crowds even after Tuesday when the passes are blocked out? We don't arrive til Tuesday and leave on Saturday. The high during those days is 77 degrees. It's going to be 95 degrees here in St. Louis today! My kids were swimming in their kiddie pool at 8:30 this morning b/c it will be too hot later in the day! Anaheim weather will be a welcome change!

I'm hoping the crowds thin on Wed. but I'm prepared for it to be packed. We arrive Mon. afternoon and I'm half expecting not to be able to go into either park that evening if they've reached capacity. I hope that is not the case, but who knows...?
Sounds like the Anaheim weather will be a welcome break for you guys. 95 is hot! It can get that hot here in June but so far not this year. A couple of years ago we had a heat wave at this time of year that was awful. We had brush fires and temps of well over a 100 on the coast. It was horrible. Fog is better than that for sure.
You should be fine with what you plan to bring. It's supposed to warm up a bit starting Wed. and the fog is supposed to burn off.

accuweather--most accurate weather site online has;

Tues 85/61
Wed 83/63
Thu 83/63
Fri 81/63
Sat. 77/62
changes daily though.
I think Wed-Sat crowds are going to be very manageable.

fellow St Louisan here, wondering the same things...we are going 7/20 and wondering how you are going to handle carrying jackets/sweaters aroung the parks...we have a stroller, but 5 jackets in the tiny stroller basket probably won't work. And also do you think you can really get away with wearing capris without getting too hot, this weather is so foreign to me after 8 trips to WDW in late summer, this should be a whole new experience.

FWIW, local news here in So. Cal. is not reporting temps anywhere as warm as posted above.

Tuesday: 74 / 57
Wednesday: 78 / 57
Thursday: 78 / 61

Also, all days listed above are being shown as "cloudy." In So. Cal, that's big because it means it doesn't get very hot. If it were ME, I'd have pants for the evening, or at least capris. Too cold for shorts at night, imo, especiallly if you are experiencing 95 right now.

We may only do jackets for the kids in the mornings and store in our stroller basket. I am only taking a gallon sized ziploc with bare essentials in it for the parks-no backpack or anything. We'll be going back to hotel for a break every day. I can restock the ziploc with snacks then.

For my 2yo dd I have set aside three very cute disney themed dresses for the day time and two (maybe three) capri outfits for the night time.
For my 6yo ds I have three shirts and three pairs of shorts. I'll also throw one or two pairs of pants in to the pile. I haven't looked in my closet yet for my outfits and today is my dh's last day of work before he starts vacation tomorrow. I know for sure that he will refuse to take pants though. The last time we went he didn't want to take a jacket and was sorry later on....

Instead of bringing big jackets you could bring thin sweater, wind breakers, or an extra long sleeve shirt. These might be easier to carry all day. You may want them for mornings and evenings.

We just got back. and it is chilly at night. I would suggest either light blankets or a sweatshirt. You won't need big coats, though. We used a WOC blanket we bought for my dd, and that worked great.
