We were able to find a prom dress for $75 at Macy's for my DD. It seems a little see through in the skirt area. I thought we could just get a slip for underneath. But now I have no idea where to get one. Can anyone recommend a slip for under a long prom dress? Also should it be white or beige (skin color)? The dress is a light mint green if that helps. Thank you so much!

Not sure if they have them long enough, but I've gotten slips in the past at Penney's. I would look at department stores or bridal type shops as suggested above. I generally am just looking for the short skirt length. Depending on how things look, a shorter skirt length may work because it would keep the dress from being see through at the important area but would still give a more sheer look that could work.

If you can't find a slip that works for her, you might try a tailor/seamstress as they can probably add a bottom layer to the dress or make a slip.

Thanks for all the advice! I thought about the dress shops, but wasn't sure. I'll try Sears too! I have found some online also. Thanks again!
