If anyone could help us with this very vague description, that would be a huge help! At least 10-12 years ago, we stayed at what was then the Ramada Baseball City. It had a Bob Evans right next door to it. Does anyone know if this hotel is still around and if so, what chain it might be? We are looking to re-visit that hotel and cannot find it anywhere.

That is up the road from me. It's on 27 correct? Baseball City no longer exists. They are putting in a mall. There is a hotel next to the Bob Evans on 27 but can't think of the chain.

This is a link to the Polk County visitors bureau. I pulled up the hotels for the Disney area. It gives you the Davenport area. It could be the Best Western you are interested in.

I think that may be it. Thank you so much. I will research it a little bit more now that I have some direction. Again, thanks a million!

Wow, that really brings back some childhood memories -- anybody else besides me remember Circus World? I still have a penant from there...

Anywho, did a Google Maps lookup, and indeed, there's a Bob Evans on Hwy 27 there.

The location isn't precise, but from the looks of things there are 2 potential candidates:

Best Western Maingate South
Quality Inn Maingate Four Corners

There are others, you can check them out here at the Google Map lookup I did.

Hope that helps!
