On our upcoming trip, we will have a rental car for 2 days. So in those 2 days we want to see Universal Studios, Island of Adventure, Florida Mall and Mall at Millenia.

Not sure if we should do parks one day then malls the next. Or mix them up and do one park, one mall. I guess I am looking for what makes more sense. And since I don't know the area as far as distance from one another, that is why I am looking for insight. I can say as far as the Malls, we would be interested in seeing about 8-10 stores in each. So we shouldn't be too long there. And I want to say as far as US, we have about 6 definites that we want to do. With IOA there are a couple but also HP on top of that.

So this is why I don't know if it is better to split things up, like I said one mall, one park or just do malls one day, then parks the next. This also makes a difference in what type of tickets I will have to purchase either base or park to park.

TIA :hippie:

I think you should try to do one park and one mall on each day. The Mall at Millenia is not far from Universal but the Florida Mall is a longer drive with lots more traffic on Sand Lake Road. Any time of day is bad for traffic. FM is usually very crowded but both malls are open later in the evening so spending a few hours in each is doable.

Thanks. I'm thinking we may do FM and IOA one day then MoM and US the next day. Now gotta see about the order of each day. That of course will depend on the hours of all involved, but at the same time, I don't want to be doing night driving in Orlando. Since I am not familiar with it.:rolleyes1

Definitely do one park and one mall a day.I've always believed you need at least close to a full day minimum for each park.Be there at rope drop and get the busiest rides like Potter done early and then head to the mall at 7pm or so,if the parks have a late closing time maybe you could do the mall first and then head to the parks.Millenia is like 2 exits north of Universal on I-4 at Conroy rd,from the Universal garage it should be no more than 10 minutes. To Florida mall it's a bit further and you have to go on ground streets so it might take closer to 20-25 minutes.I would exit take Universal blvd to Sand Lk rd and turn left,Sand Lake will take you directly to the mall.

We always go the back way to Mall at Millenia. That way we don't get stuck on any freeway problems. Vineland to Radebough way to Millenia Blvd.
