for our trip this month......

we are going to have 6 park days, BBB photos, P & PP & 4 character meals.

when we went in 05 had less days and no extra activities and my one album in so full (I think it has about 150 pages in it)

any thoughts from those of you who go for that long? I scrap so much differently now from 05 and use more embellishments, etc so my books tend to be thicker.

I'm thinking two albums, one for Epcot and DHS and the other for MK (BBB, P&PP too) and AK.

Thanks :flower3:

not sure, I'm not really happy with my 2004 WDW album so I haven't bought anymore.
I used 2 albums for 2004. I'll have to recount, it was almost 400 pics and 90 pages? something like that.

You are asking me who used (2) 12 x 12 CM Disney albums for a five day trip? :lmao:

I have no idea but I have 1- 30 page album just for the Pirate and Princess Party we attended and DH was sick so we missed half of the park.

For my 10 day trip, I used 2 albums (expanded GREATLY) and it was about 180 pages.

I didn't buy my albums at WDW though - I got expandable ones here. Am I correct in remembering that the ones they sell there are all 3 ring binders now? No room for growth there, so factor that in.

I have come to hate post bound and love the 3 ring.

I discriminate greatly on the pictures I use in my albums. for my 9 day trip, I'll have about 45 pages when all is said and done. Between DBF, Photopass and I, I have 1900 pictures

I guess I'll have to look at their albums and decide, I might be better off getting them here after I get all my pages done.

Thanks for your input!

Off subject....what are your dates? I will be arriving on Jan 21. I will be at Universal the two days before that. I am going to P and P on Jan 21.

Me too. Look for the grey haired woman on an ecv with a teddy bear!

56 pages, 9 day trip for 2 adults. Didn't scrap every photo, but the book is almost too heavy to pick up.

do the 3 ring look ok on a 2 page spread? I like the post bound because of the some what seamless transition from the left to the right, I think the rings would get in the way. Yes, no? Becky Higgins uses really nice 3 ring books. I'm considering a change. How many pages can you get in a binder?

Our September 2007 trip--7 park days and it was my parents' first trip in 25 years--I used 2 albums. Now, they are 2 HUGE albums (as NEE said it, "Expanded GREATLY"). I used the postbound ones that Target had in the summer--there was a Mickey one and a Pooh one (12 x 12). Mine are the Pooh ones. There are 240 single pages between the 2 albums. I'm not good at weeding the photos down--I like to use ALL of them (DH doesn't so love that!). Also, like you said, my pages are bulkier with the awesome swap stuff on them. :)

I don't see a problem with them at all. I love that they lie totally flat. I threw the layouts I did at my crop last night in a postbound I had handy and none stayed flat. I hated it.

Becky Higgins uses the We R Memory Keepers albums. I have a couple of the American Crafts ones and I love them.

Are those (the We R Memory Keepers) the ones that are pictured in the February 2008 CK in her scraproom? I LOVE the yellow ones!! :)

Yeah, those are the ones. I was given an American Crafts one at CKU and I love that the cover is a solid color on the left and the majority of the cover is chipboard so you can custom it to whatever you want

SusieStone, LindaBabe and rlovew, we will be there 1/25 - 2/2. Sat we will be in Epcot and Sun MK, would love to meet you I can PM my cell # to you if it would work out!

I would try for one with the year and one with the overall disney theme (no year) if it were me. I know in my first Disney album I have alot of "overall shots" like main street, tower of terror ect. They weren't necessary in my next album. The next one I have the sign to tower of terror and my son inline. A great tip is to take your old album with you when you go and look at it before you go to that park for the day. Then your eye will naturally search for different shots.

I am leaving on Friday. I will barely miss you. Drats. I really wish I booked a longer trip. I may see about adding a night once I get there - I end up doing that anyway.

I plan on going to the Holy Land Experinece on Saturday.

I am thinking about changing my Park Hopper tickets to annual passes for this year.
