We are planning a last minute trip. We were thinking of going the week my daughter is out of school. So we would drive up Oct 12 then park days would be Oct 13-16 then drive home Oct 17. Looks like a lot of things are booked up (plus Tuesday Halloween party is sold out).

Just seeing how busy that week might be, or if going in Nov would be better.

Also what hotels that are further away offer a shuttle and maybe a breakfast? Not the ART type ones one, just one to and from the hotel. I'm ok staying further away but would prefer not to have to pay parking daily or Ride ART.

Looks like Monday and Thursday will be busy but Tue and Wed should be good touring days.

Another thing to consider is there are no fireworks or Fantasmic shows midweek during much of the off-season. The only fireworks while you are there will be during the Halloween party. World of Color still has shows every night though.

I've only stayed at a hotel outside walking distance once and will never do it again. I saved a few dollars but it wasn't worth the time and aggravation lost to dealing with traffic.
