Trying to edit posts

I can't seem to edit my posts anymore. I did a search on this forum and found a thread about editing. But I'm not sure I understand it. So, I'm going to try to edit this. If it dosn't work this time, will someone please help me?

It looks like it's going to work now. I just posted a few minutes ago to the theme parks board, and when I tried to edit I had smilies where the text should have been. But not this time, oh well.
