Trying to decide where to stay, have questions on park transportation with scooters.

I have several years experience with a scooter and transportation. The Skyliner is a delight. Drive on, back off, so easy. I’ve gotten good at the bus as long as I don’t get flustered. Most drivers are very helpful, but when they are not, I forget everything I know about how to parallel park the dumb thing.

We used scooters when we went in March and travelled on both the busses and the skyliner. We preferred the skyliner, hands down. It's true you can only do one scooter per gondola, but the other would be not too far behind and would likely be far faster than the busses. We also found them easier to load/unload with the scooters as you go straight on/off, so no maneuvering into position like you have to one the busses. You also have a separate line for the mobility devices of any type, so you're won't feel you're holding up the line when you're loading. While the bus drivers are very helpful and patient, not all the other guests are, which can be an uncomfortable experience when you feel you're under a microscope. Additionally, as was already mentioned, if a bus only has one scooter spot open, you'll have to either split your party up, or wait for the next bus which might have two spots available, or maybe none at all. With the skyliner, and using a scooter, your party will likely be the only group in the gondola, so you'll not be stuffed in with people you don't know.

Another bonus: THE VIEWS!
