Trying to decide if we need to use FP+ for AK

Current plan is to hit AK twice during our 4 and half day WDW stay during peak spring break (last week of March). Once at RD on a non-EMH morning and once after 3 pm on AK EMH morning day. We need to meet up with DS on his band trip at 6 pm at AK hence the timing. Since we will obviously park hop those two days, I'm wondering if I should use our FP+ on the other park (likely MK).

On RD day, which ride should we get to first? EE or the Safari? On this day we need to get back to MK around 1 to see DS perform with his high school band at 2:30.

On the post 3 pm day, will standby be feasible for EE - we could go single rider. I need to collect DS from his high school group before they depart back home on the bus so I need to be at the meeting point (AK parking lot) a bit early. So I'm not sure how much we can get done and defintely can't get 'stuck' in a ride. DH may very likely be willing to forgo ride to pick up DS though.

Other attractions we are interested in are Dinosaur, Flights of Wonder, the trails, Tough to be a Bug.

Thanks for the help!

1 Either. Virtual toss-up. You'll be able to ride both, standby within the first 50-80 minutes in the park.
You could do FP+, on one or both, if you'd like, but not a necessity.

2- Single Rider is a good plan.

3- You could get FP+ for Dinosaur. The others should not be a problem.
(The trails can be done with any time "in-between" that you have.)

I'm wondering if the trails will feel more congested on an EMH day so I should do those on the non-EMH rope drop day after a few rides? Then I am assuming I can fit Dinosaur and single rider EE without FP+ on the post 3 pm day. Onlly issue would be non park hoppers staying in AK despite it being a 'half day' park.
