This is my first ever pre-trip journal and I'm so excited! I love planning everything out and obsessing over all the little, magical details before a WDW vacation!

First, I think I should introduce the cast :)

Me princess:- :wave2: I'm a 21 year old, soon-to-be pharmacist (only 2 more years left!!) who has been a disney lover my whole life. The WDW obsession bug didn't bite me until last year though. I spent a week in at the AKL in August of 2006 and despite being in the world numerous times as a child, decided at that moment that WDW was my heaven on earth. I have been to fortunate enough to have travelled all over the world (Dubai, Mumbai, Giza, Bangkok to name a few) but I've never felt as relaxed and at ease on vacation as I did in WDW. I think it was when I realized that everything I had been worrying about before I left had magically evaporated from my thoughts and all that was left was a little girl and lots of pixie dust.

Prince charming :cool2: - My prince charming is a 31 year old that has never, EVER been to Disney. When we met, he tried not to laugh when one of the first things I told him about myself was that I loved Walt Disney World. As we got more serious, and started talking about getting married eventually, I told him that I really wanted to have a DFTW. His first response was "No Way" :scared: but a few weeks ago it was just an aggravated sigh so there is some hope!! :rolleyes1 heh. ANYWAYS, he didn't even want to go to WDW. I always thought that I would have to twist his arm to get him to even agree to a day in the MK.

Until....
The morning AFTER my birthday, after the family dinner and the party, my wonderful, amazing, prince charming told me that my birthday present was a trip to Disney World. At first he said "I'm sure you and your mom will have so much fun" and led me to believe that he didn't even want to go on a trip he almost suggested! :rotfl: About 10 minutes of me getting whiney because I thought he'd NEVER go to Disney World with me, he said "Well, I guess it wouldn't be so bad if it was you and me. ;) " :cloud9:

So that's the pre-trip pre-story.
I, somehow ;) , got the most un-disney like man in the world to agree to a weeklong trip to WDW. On the next installment: Where to stay, where to eat, and how to make my prince charming realize that I'm not so crazy for being in love with the mouse! :upsidedow

And here are some pictures of the cast!! :goodvibes

our "children".. ronan and chavo, four month old pomeranians. they aren't going, but they are part of our family :)

First off, what a great guy to give you a present like that. I can't wait to hear more about your plans.

Second, I am totally squealing over how you cute your poms are. Do they get along well? Chavo looks just like mine when she was little. She was all brown when she was little, and now has no brown at all. So, I have to share pics, too. It makes me laugh that neither even look like the same dog when they are wet.

Princess is one week away from being a year old.

PS-I promise I am not trying to take over your pre-trippie. I just get so excited when someone else has a pom!

I am so jealous of your present! I look forward to reading your report! More, more please.

I'm taking my TWO Prince Charmings in November and neither have been to WDW! My DH is 48 and my DS is 4!! I just can't imagine how someone can live so long and never go there!

Looking forward to more of your Pre-Trippie!

Oh my! Someone like me! lol. I get SO excited when I find out someone has a pom. Chavo and Ronan get along very well, they're brothers so they've been together since day one. Your little girl is adorable! I want to get a girl, so I'm considering getting one soon so they can all get along while they're young.

There will be more soon! lol. I just started my first 9-5 job ever and I'm still getting used to it! heh

Definitely get a girl. :thumbsup2 I love mine! We are thinking of getting another dog (a boy Yorkie), but I am a little worried about how Princess will handle it. She is really good with other dogs and very well behaved (she never barks), but she is also really spoiled and has us all to herself now.

I can't wait to hear all about your trip plans. I need to make sure I have everything important included in my plans.

So, I just realized our trip counters are only 1 day apart. We are going to be there at the exact same time! Too funny. :rotfl:

Yay!!! Oh, I cannot wait to see pics of your new doggy. Did you get the boys from a breeder or a store? Are you getting her from the same place?

We saw the cutest thing the other day. A pomeranian-shih tzu. We did find a good Yorkie breeder in Utah, but they want $2800. :scared1: I am willing to pay fora good dog, but seriously . . . Princess is purebred, small, champion line and cost less than half of that.

There was a thread I saw on the DIS the other day about wishes/wants for WDW, and it had a pet-friendly hotel. Now that would be perfect. :goodvibes

$2800?!?!?! YIKES!!! We got both boys from a breeder in Missouri for $1600, and that included the airfare. We had to go pick them up from the airport.. it was cute  We're probably getting the girl from a breeder in Florida, and she'll be around $900. Girls are traditionally more than boys so I expected that, and I wanted a cream sable colored one so being picky usually leads to things being more expensive too! heh

I need to start actually updating this pre-trippie soon! I'm so concentrated on my poms.. heh :rolleyes1

I know; it is an insane price. Princess had 2 brothers who were both cream; I kind of wish we had gotten one of them now. Or there was this other girl who was black (her cousin maybe?), but Princess as pretty snooty to her when they were together at the breeder. :snooty:

:rotfl: Yes, you do. Poms vs. WDW . . . :confused3 not sure who wins!
