trying to contact travel agent to get today's discount

My package was booked several months back thru Dreams Unlimited. I'm hoping to get the discount that came out today- do the travel agents generally get these applied automatically or do I need to request? I've emailed my agent but haven't heard back yet.

Agents who work with Earmarked agencies (like Dreams Unlimited) usually check automatically for their clients. FYI, because of the new discount, the phone line holds are over 2 hours today and the travel agent and consumer websites are down. Since you e-mailed, I'm sure your agent is aware that you want to check the new rates and will get back to you. We just have to be patient today!
