Trying to book WDW room only 499 days in advance.

Does anyone know anything about the 499 day in advance room only option changing recently??

We've tried twice now to book a room only reservation for 2023 (within the 499 days) by calling (407) 939 1936 with no success.

We were told they can't book for 2023 yet (because Disney hasn't released a 'code' and also because of covid) and to wait until it's released online even though the dates we want are within 499 days.

Is booking 499 days in advance no longer an option??

I've been waiting to see reports on this as I haven't tried myself yet, but it's possible when the calendar recently clicked over to 500 days being 1/1/2023, they stopped taking reservations. But up until then you could book 500 days from your check-in, which had been Disney's latest booking methodology.

Would love to see other reports as well - anyone else out there book for 2023 yet?

I read recently on the Camping Forum that people were unable to make Jan 2023 reservations yet.

you can book pretty far ahead; just not the 499 days. i would suggest calling instead of online. i booked last year for this coming April

I tried calling them again about 5 days ago and they still weren't taking reservations for 2023

Thank you both! I reached out to a travel agent this morning who said the same thing.

they are probably waiting for the 2023 prices to be released. just keep calling periodically.

Just letting everyone know that bookings for early 2023 are now open, I just made mine for Jan/Feb!

Made mine tonight, @Mollari. Thanks for the heads-up. Currently booking arrivals up to 4/30/23. Not yet available on-line, have to call. I did a room-only reservation. Bama Ed
