Trying to be patient. Just a vent.

I posted a few weeks ago about my DH being laid off and being offered a job with the company I work for. Well, my boss is not able to hire my DH until their work load picks up, which is expected to happen within the next few weeks. In the mean time my DH was called back to work at his previous employer. My DH is not happy there, but needs to work because unemployment and no insurance doesn't cut it. He is really looking forward to a job change and is trying to stick it out until he can turn in his notice.

I really hate seeing him so unhappy and pray that this new job works out. We are just trying to remember "Good things come to those who wait!!!"

Thanks for letting me vent.

As someone who's patience has been tested time and time again (DH out of work for 2 years! I could never imagine anything like that!), tell you DH to go back to the job with a smile and hope for the best. If nothing else, he knows that there will be a better option for him at your place of employment in the future.

When I was a kid and bad things were happeneing to me(well, as bad of a thing that could happen to a kid...fights with friends etc...nothing terrible) my mother would say "This too shall pass". And you know, when things are lousy now that I am an adult, I tell myself that same thing. It helps, because it will pass. Chaos does not reign forever.
