We are from the US and have done several US cruises including 3 Disney...We decided to do the British Isle Cruise on May 22, 2005 on the Golden Princess, then maybe a side trip by rail to Disneyland Paris.
I've been looking at airfares and if I leave the states on Wed coach is $516 RT and Premium economy is $755 RT. If I leave the day before the cruise on Sat it is $576 coach or $815 premium economy on British Airways. Is there a big difference in service?. I am leaning towards premium economy.
The problem with trying to add on a 2 night 3 day trip to DL Paris is that I don't know what do to with the extra cruise luggage. Might just pack light..
Any suggestions.? We are 59 & 60 Disney Fanatics who love to cruise.

we flew Brittish airways to chicago november last year and on the way over got upgraded from economy to the next fare level which i assume was premium economy.

i was already impressed with the economy seats on the plane to be honest as BA always have a high standard but the difference was big when we got upgraded. far larger seats, better meals, less seats in the cabin, better ratio of hostesses to people. more choices of movies/programs, etc.

that being said i remember the hostess calling it something other than premium economy so im not sure if it was the same thing.

my best advice would be yes do it, BUT first ring the travel company or BA and check exactly what the difference is between the two. by the looks of things the cost increase isnt that dramatic so its worth it. believe me anything that will make those 8 hours more pleasent is very worth it.
