Real Life update:
Sorry for the long hiatus, told myself I wouldn’t be one of those people but I was. Life just gets in the way and wedding planning makes it harder!


So life update first!
We’ve set our date, picked our venue and I even have my dress!!!
We are getting married on June 28, 2014 woooooo!!

I would post pictures of my dress but I don’t want him to somehow see it on here. Its pink and white and very simple. It was the last one of its kind so I got it for $169!!!!! Woohoo.


We have also picked our honeymoon spot……are you ready for this!?!




DISNEYLAND!!!


We’ve never been and we know its much smaller than the world but we wanted to try something different and we are super pumped about it!

We plan on staying at the Paradise Pier with a theme park view. So if anyone has tips about Disneyland please don’t be afraid to comment. For once I'm completely clueless

Tomorrowland here we come!!!

So the “holy crap I'm engaged” went away and then came back every time we got random congratulations.

Next stop was space mountain! To use our 2nd planned fp of the day! We didn’t hit this ride last year because we didn’t have enough time.

The wait was minimal and in minutes we were boarding…the one thing I hated about this ride was the attendant put us in two separate cars….





I think we retired this ride…I'm just getting too old ha!

After we got our stomachs back in the right place we went over to one of our favorite rides in MK Buzz lightyear!

I love September for the short ride times!! We did buzz about 3 times in a row.

Can never have a good picture from there!

After a couple rounds of buzz it was time for our last scheduled FP of the day, where would use it for?

Big Thunder Railroad! This ride for me is like Space Mountain and I feel like I'm getting too old for it. I wish it was a little bit better but that’s why we only ride it once a trip.

When we got off BTMR it was finally time to check in for our dinner reservation!

It was amazing!! Everything I hoped it to be! I love Beauty and the Beast. I was in love. We were seating in the west wing so I wasn’t able to great pictures but still got some.



I didn’t want to ruin my napkin!

We had an amazing waitress, Kimberly. She was just as excited as we were about our engagement!

We got some champagne to being our celebration dinner.



I got the shrimp and scallops…..OMG sooooooo yummy!


I believe Joe got the steak but I'm not sure and I have no pictures to remind me.

This restaurant is amazing!! Then our waitress came over and gave us some “grey stuff” and explained that it was the last night that they were giving it away and that come that Tuesday you would be able order it off the menu. I felt special!


It tasted like cookies and cream!

So after the free dessert, naturally we got some more!

I got the chocolate chocolate cupcake…..i love chocolate!



Joe got the lemon meringue cupcake, he enjoyed it



Dinner and dessert were amazing, it was a perfect way to end our engagement day!






After dinner we made our way out of Magic Kingdom and back to our room…..we had to make some more phone calls and unpack our bags.

Day 1 was a complete success!

Day 2 is next!

Hey look at that life got in the way again…..plus no one is reading this but that’s alright ill continue!

Day 2 September 10!

We “officially” announced our engagement to our friends and extended family so our phones we’re blowing up the whole day….mine died mid-afternoon.

Where would we be going?!

EPCOT!


I have a new love for this park….Being over the age of 21 certainly helps. It amazes me how well this park is planned out and how the worlds are very much accurate with everything they have in the stores and such.

It was EMH this morning so we had 3 FP+ and then planned on using the EMH to do the rides we like without much crowds….well that didn’t work out as planned.

We we’re going to hit Test Track first but of course it was down…I was bummed.

So onto NEMO it was



I'm obsessed if you couldn’t tell or anything.

I'm very excited to see that DL has nemo ride as well.

After getting out of our clamoblie, it was time to use our FP for TT I had my fingers crossed that it was back up and running…..and it was!!! Woohoo.

I really enjoyed the new experience and how they get people to interact during the ride.

I wasn’t sure when they actually took the picture…I was pretty impressed lol

Around this time I believed we did all the little cute stuff such as figment, captain eo and did some walking around. It was hot so we took a pit stop at the starbucks and I got something with a long name that I cant remember now but it was delicious!



While we were sitting in the shade we decided that a late lunch in EPCOT would be ideal…so I took out my phone and made us reservation at Via Napoli…we’ve always wanted to eat there and figured a late lunch would be perfect.

After we were done our starbucks we decided to get some PP pictures done.



I love the one where we are looking at each other.

Now I have no idea what we did after this….so I had to look on Facebook to see if I posted any pictures, it so happens there is only one picture of that day and its of a margarita and beer….so I think we were drinking and that’s probably why I cant remember haha

I do know our lunch reservation was at 2:15. We didn’t wait for long and got seated next to a window with the sun coming through it was a beautiful table!

And I got an Italian margarita


It was a slush and it was delicious.

We were feeling ambitious and very hungry so we go the largest pizza available



The pizza was huge!!!! But we were troopers plus knew we wanted leftovers for another night.



I say we did a pretty damn good job!


We also got a celebration dessert; I don’t remember what it was because I forgot to take a picture until we devoured that as well!


From what my notes say after we left Via Napoli we headed out of epcot back to our resort to change and use the pool. We had a cute little quiet pool next to us that we used a lot during the vacation…it was perfect for us!

We had a late dinner back at the resort and did some more walking and drinking around.

Day 3 Hollywood Studios!

This is my favorite park!!!! I just wish there was more to do here.

We started our day like every other day with breakfast at the resort and then headed back to the room to drop off our mugs and then on to the bus stop.

We arrived at 8:15 and there was a bit of a line already!

We were going to get a picture with Mike and Sulley but they were looking kind of sad.



Around 8:45 they let us in and it wasn’t as crazy as it was time we went but then again that was in July, I really love September!

Joe spotted some ducks and he wanted his picture!


Where would we head next? Hmmmm I have no idea!

Love it, cant get enough of it. Joe ended up with a blister in between his fingers!

Joe loves this park because of all the Walt history that’s in it. I enjoy it as well and that’s other reason why we are excited to go to DL because Walt actually built it.

Lady and the Tramp is one our of favorites! We found champagne flutes and cake cutters with Lady and the Tramp on them!


It amazes me how “real” this is


After touring all of Walts stuff it was time to use our FP’s up first?!

I know we did the ToT but our picture didn’t come out well and I'm sure we did Toy Story again.

Before we left we took some pictures….the photographer wanted me to show off my bling…I'm not going to say no







We had only planned for a half day here because we had another full day coming up on Friday.

So we hopped on the bus back to the resort, filled up our mugs and went for a quick dip.

We had a dinner reservation at 8:15 at the Poly so around 6 we heading to the magic kingdom to kill some time and got some more pictures of the castle…..this is my new favorite spot…didn’t realize it was here.

Love the picture frame idea!



We were on our way to ride splash mountain after the brief photo shoot

We have a blast on splash, love the story and love the drop!


I labeled this photo “Spousal Abuse”


I do have one complaint about Splash….the whole week it was constantly backed up!! I'm not sure why but it annoying after a while.


We still had time to kill so we decided to walk towards New Fantasyland and get some more pictures. I cant say it enough how much in love I am with this land, I could stay in this area forever!



We stopped to try some LeFou’s Brew, I enjoyed it, but I'm still leaning towards Butter Beer

Of course we bought belle!

It was finally time to hop on the monorail and head to the Poly!

Where was our dinner reservation?!


Now our reservation was for 8:15 we go there around 7:50 and we didn’t get seated until 8:40, I was a bit annoyed with this because we were relying on Disney Transportation to get us back and the MK closed at 10 so we kind of rushed through the meal.

We both got Lapu Lapus!

So good but not worth the 14 dollars!

I really enjoyed the atmosphere here, it really fits the themeing. We got a table next to the window and we were able to see wishes which were pretty neat and the only time we got to see them……

The food was delicious! We loved the noodles, pot stickers and the pork the best! I seriously could have just eaten the noodles and I would have been all set. I didn’t try the dessert as I was full and not a fan of banana but Joe says it was good.

This was the most expensive meal this trip and when we go back to WDW I don’t think this will be on our list of must do’s

We paid the tab and headed out to catch a monorail back to Magic Kingdom and then a bus back to POR
