I have my 10-day NE tickets linked in MDE. All was fine before this past trip last month. We had 6 days remaining before we left for Florida. After spending 2 days in the parks - 1 in MK, 1 in HS, I now have 3 remaining days. Last time I checked, 6-2 = 4. This must be special Mickey math.

45 minutes on hold, being switched from ticketing to internet help and back again and no one at Disney seems able to help.

I am so frustrated. I am guessing I will need to go in person to Guest Relations since they seem incapable of helping over the phone. A bit problematic as I live in NJ.

Not feeling very magical.

Yup.

Although I WOULD specifically call WDW Ticketing Guest Relations at (407) 566-4985 (option 5.)

Simple mathematical errors happen everywhere. Give Guest Relations a call and I'm sure they can sort it out tickety boo for you.

That stinks, their computer systems seem to make a LOT of mistakes and they always take a long time for their staff to fix. It's never just a quick click on the computer, you're all set ma'am.

Their math worked in our favor last year. Had a 10 day NE ticket for our DS and was pretty certain we had 5 days left on it. Loaded it onto MDE and it said there was 7 days left. :confused3

When I loaded my 10 day NE ticket into MDE after our last trip, it says I have one more day than I thought I had left on it. I was thinking I had made a mistake, now I am wondering if Disney did?

Unfortunately, I am finding customer service in most companies I deal with including Disney is hit or miss lately. Sometimes I get reps who are well informed, bright, proactive and solve my problem simply and effectively and then I get those who seem clueless, uninterested or simply unable or unwilling to help.

I called Disney 3 times regarding the same issue - when do you get AP magic bands when you currently have the voucher. My common sense and the disboards told me I would have to wait until 2nd trip to Disney (have to first activate pass on first trip).

The first 2 CMs I spoke with a Disney told me the magic bands should show up on MDE within a week or 2. I told them I only have voucher and it was linked to MDE - they both insisted I would be able to customize magic bands bfore my trip. One CM told me if it didn't show up in MDE within a week to call.

I knew better, but figured what the heck and called again and the third time I got a helpful CM who knew the correct answer. He apologized for the incorrect info I was given and explained when I would be able to order AP magic bands. BUT, he was unsure as to weather my APs expired the following year on the actual day I activated them or midnight the day before (I activate APs Aug. 21 2014. Will I be able to use APs Aug. 21 2015 or do they expire midnight Aug. 20 2015?)

It's frustrating and unfortunately we need to continue to ask, probe and be diligent. Again, it's not only Disney I find this problem ... it's most everywhere.
Let's face it, most customer service centers for large companies are located no where near the company - sometimes in foreign countries - and the people trying to help you are may or may not be totally familiar with the product / service.

Good luck with your quest. It may be frustrating, but I would just keep on trying and calling Disney until I get someone who can and will help.

She did call and got no help whatsoever.

The OP did call.....she noted that she had spent 45 minutes on hold.

With Disney, getting to the right person is the key to success with a problem like this. Not the OP's fault, but Disney just doesn't train all of its phone staff to work out all types of problems and this one looks more complicated than most.

Thank you for the advice. Unfortunately, that is the same number the woman in internet services gave me to try. When I finally got someone on the line, she immediately transferred me back to the internet woman. I didn't even get a chance to say "I just talked to them!" before I heard the darn hold music in my ear.

Would it be better to wait until you get there to straighten it out? This way you will be right in front of an expert, say, at a ticket booth.

When you have a list of the days you used the ticket in hand, the ticket agent will likely just use that and fix the problem on the spot.
