Truth time - how many of you pick restaurants based on the desserts?

Oops, hit the button too soon! ANYWAY:

I'm going to Liberty Tree Tavern for the carmel apple crisp with shortbread crust.

Cape May for Oreo Bon-bons

'Ohana for a coconut snowball (and they best have it, or heads will roll! LOL!)

Garden Grill for cherry crisp and vanilla bean ice cream

Alfredo's for tirimasu

Now if only they had a decent cup o' Joe to go with my desserts . . .

Alright, I'll admit it. Once I saw Seaspray's pictures of Kona's Kilhaua Torte, I informed (not asked) DH that we would be having dinner there. I'm also going to stop by the Mara just to try and buy some zebra domes!

Oreo Bon Bons at Cape May! I found a recipe for them and am excited about trying it soon.

Oh no! Im a savory kind of gal! I love my entrees. I never have dessert.

Maggs

If truth be told, I think I mainly love LeCellier so much for their appetizers!

Not us only because we normally go for the buffets so everyone can something they like. I think in a couple of years the girls will be ready to try more restaurants. Now I got to work DW to try other places. We do have 2 non-buffet restaurants scheduled so were making progress. :rotfl2:

That is why we are eating at Kona! :rotfl:

I'm with you, I go for the desserts.
Best yet-Ohana's banana bread pudding, had 3 helpings and went back on the last night just for the dessert.

I usually don't go for the desserts, but now that I am on the dining plan for our July trip, I have actually picked our resturants based on the app and dessert options.

I actually wouldn't mind having dessert .I wonder how many places would let me take it to go

When I decide to have a meal at Beaches it's more for the dessert than the sandwich otherwise I pick the restaurant based on the entree. I'd hate to pick a restaurant based on a dessert and find out it's no longer on the menu.

You're not alone--I look at the dessert menu first because I'm all about the sweets. I could easily forego any meal just to have dessert. At home I keep it in check pretty well so when I'm on vacation that is my chance to live it up. Who needs a burger or salad when there's a sweet treat to be had! Here's what I'm looking forward to on our upcoming trip...

MK--hoping to try the French Toast Loaf and Dole Whips I hear about

B&C--gotta go back for another No Way Jose

'Ohanas--can't wait to taste the bread pudding that's getting raves

RFC--I've been dreaming of the Volcano since we had it last!

Epcot--so many! Gotta repeat the schoolbread in Norway and the cheesecake and sacristain in France's bakery, wanting to get the Stickey Toffee Pudding as take out from the UK pub (it sounds awesome)

DTD candy store--looking for a german chocolate cookie I read about on the boards long ago

Obviously, I've put some thought into my sugar coma! Anyone have more suggestions to throw at us??

Is there something called "the Kitchen Sink" somewhere? I may have this wrong....I'm new to all of this. I seem to remember a discussion...and pictures of something called that.

If so, where can you get one? How much is it?

TiA!!

Oh yes, I love dessert. DH and I typically share entrees so we can have dessert :)
