HAHA...I love that you throw Eric under the bus and say he would be the embarassing one! Believe me...we eat dinners with Pat's family. There is no way of embarassing us...no way. We should go out to dinner, the 4 of us, sometime in the near future though. If we can figure out how to do that with everyone's weird schedules! We apparently need dinner practice!

That is what I have so we're good! What day can you make ADRs? Tomorrow??

That sounds like a good idea. We are always around Saturday afternoons and possibly Sundays.

The American Idol thing looks like a fun idea...just don't know if I want to give up a whole day (if I make it very far...who knows if that will happen ) for it! But...it would be a pretty awesome day if I did it!

Eric is so excited about Animal Kingdom but Boardwalk is my fav. I have stayed there a few times and LOVE it. If I can convince Eric to buy into DVC then we can stay there all the time!!

I will let you know how it goes when I call tomorrow.

Oh and we DID go to the zoo. It was cold but Eric thought the rain would be romantic A lot of the animals weren't there...not sure where they go!

I love your ADRs, except for Wolfgang Puck's. Going to be honest that it was the worst meal and experience that we've ever had at WDW. We ate in the downstairs dining a couple years ago and were pretty disappointed with it. But, DH wanted to eat upstairs as part of a nice date night on our honeymoon, and it was TERRIBLE. We were there for three hours waiting on food, which wasn't that great after the wait. Our service stunk (which, it had the first time downstairs, too.)

I've had rumors that when WP got divorced, his wife got that restaurant and she doesn't keep up with it like he does the ones that he owns. I'm not sure if that's true or not. But, I've heard from several people that Wolfgang Express is much better than the restaurant, too.

I hope you have a better experience than we did; you'll have to let me know when you get back!!

Hi! I'm Lauren...me and my DH are going to WDW with Amanda in June so I sort of jumped in to her PTR

I was reading your comment on Wolfgang Pucks and...I completely agree!! I hated it enough to never really want to try it again. That is why Amanda is going during the part of the trip that I won't be there I hated my meal and the service was completely horrible. I definitely expected much more from it.

It's funny that you guys say that because I LOVE their food!! Our service has ranged from so-so to great, but never horrible. I'll let you know what happens this time. I am dreaming of the chicken dish!!

BUT WP express in the marketplace has the best breakfast!!

I went to the AKL for a early lunch one day on my trip in Dec and they were still in their breakfast/brunch hours when I passed by. I almost attempted a walk-up; I had a feeling I still could have gotten in. But I ate at the Mara instead. But next trip I’m doing Boma for breakfast.

I love Boma breakfast...even though I don't think I get my money's worth!!

Le Cellier is one of my favs and the only thing open between 5 and and 8 was a 4:50 lol...close enough! I am guessing it was from people checking in before me but it was still within their 10 days.
