I know this is related to the ZhuZhu pet thread, but I wanted to post separately in case anyone else did what I did.
I pre-ordered the ZhuZhu Hamster City back in August. At the time, they also had wii games buy 1, get 1 50% off. So, I bought 2 Wii games and pre-ordered the ZhuZhu city on the same order. In retrospect, a mistake on my part.
So, the 2 games shipped right away since they were both in stock. I was charged $22.20 for shipping at that time. It didn't bother me too much, since I knew part of it was for the ZhuZhu set to be shipped later. However, after I got the cancellation email this past week, I realized I had been gipped on the shipping.
I called TRU customer service and after waiting about 15 minutes to talk to someone, I explained what happened and she issued me a credit for the shipping (I'm getting close to $16 back). She was very nice and apologetic - no problems at all.
If you ordered anything else at the same time as you pre-ordered the Hamster City, just check the shipping charge - you may be due a refund!
