Troublesome events...

Titus has emailed Ashli and his mom about some things that have been happening to his unit lately and they are kind of scary to me.
He said that yesterday some Iraqis got into the perimiter of their camp but were captured quickly. He said it kinda freaked everyone out but didn't really say what the Iraqis' intentions were, or if they were known. This is the second time this has happened since Titus left Baghdad a few weeks ago but the first time he said they knew their intentions weren't good (I'm guessing they had weapons on them) but the Iraqis were captured quickly that time also.
He was also talking about a mission that he volunteered for but didn't get picked to go on. He said the soldiers had a flat on one of the vehicles and that they came under fire when they got out to change the tire. Thankfully no one was hurt and they were able to get out of there but these things sure do scare me.

That is SCARY!! I know that Ashli (and Titus's Mom and everyone) muct really be worried now. I was hoping it was calmer over there.

He will remain in my thoughts and prayers.

Titus still remains in my prayers and we're all counting down the days until he's in the States again - all safe and sound!

With all the good news, with everyone coming home, I sometimes forget that there is still resistance over there. I hope Titus comes home soon and continues to stay safe.

Ditto what Tinkhappy said. I tend to think things are alot calmer than they really are. We will definitely be keeping Titus and the others in prayer until they are home.
