trouble getting in this am? UPDATE: I'M IN

For those who have had trouble all weekend with the infamous "quarter-loading bar," try it now! When they fixed whatever it was that kicked everybody else out of the game at 2 p.m. today, it also rebooted whatever was needed to get us into VMK.

So, I missed nearly every game and quest this weekend, but at least I'm back in.



I've been trying to log on since 10 a.m. ET (just shy of an hour ago). I've used both VMK Pal and the VMK Home page. I've cleared out my cache 3 or 4 times. I've rebooted the computer once. Still, the most I can get is the load bar about halfway across and then it just freezes and refuses to move at all.

Nobody else is posting about problems this a.m. so is it just me?

I logged in just fine this morning, about 7:50 pdt. Sorry that you are having troubles.

First I would log in and walk away from the computer.... it may just need 10-20 minutes to do it's thing.

ARRRRRRGGGGGH..... I STILL can't get in today. I've been trying for 4 hours now. I tried Bearz' advice to just let it sit. I checked the stickies and based on that, I uninstalled and reloaded my Shockwave and Flash.

I know none of you can do anything about it, but I'm still frustrated and had to rant for a moment.

Now I'm going to sulk.

Oh gosh! Yesterday I tried logging in through both Vmk and Vmk Pal and it said the site was temp. unavailable! I got real mad but i'm logging in right now as I write this so wish me luck!

Mine is doing the same thing as Lady and Duck's. Quarter bar load (for a while this morning it was half bar, but most of the day, just quarter) and then eventually (like 20 minutes later, a crash).

It has been doing it all day. I have STILL not been able to get into VMK. I have deleted, uninstalled and reinstalled everything I can think of. I have written a note to VMK's Contact Us but I don't anticipate an answer on the weekend.

If ANYBODY has any suggestions I'd appreciate it. Just so irrirtated that on a cold, gray, raining Saturday when I was home all alone I couldn't get into the game. *sigh* Maybe tomorrow.

I totally understand.. and feel your frustration! I too am having problems as Lady and Duck!! But the funny part of it is I was on this morning doing the host game and won and was just fine then had to go shopping and came back and tried to get in and couldn't ...tried everything! then finally got on me and with the help of my son I was able to get the quest done! But crashed and now can't get back in..and I can't get on the home page either? So I am trying to leave it alone...and hope that helps! But my son who live right close to me had no problems? Can you get that??? So I do understand!
I also did everything clean disk..clean catche... restart...turn off wait a few? nothing? Who knows. But at least I see that I wasn't the only other one?

I wrote to them last week about it and they said it was something they were working on to fix and that after 3 times writing about it I did'nt have to send it in again. They just got 4 more messages from me, 2 from yesterday and 2 from today. Everyone that is having this same problem write in about it and maybe they will fix this.

GSHAWEN, thanks for letting me know that at least this is a real problem with VMK and not just some freak thing on my computer. Hopefully, I'll get in today, but if not I will be sending more messages to VMK!

I couldn't get on through FIrefox or VMKPal I finally got on through AOL but now in doing the SHipwreck Quest in going to the Pirate Lobby my bar freezes at about 1/3 of the way. THis has happened the last few days in the PIrate Lobby for us-

gshawen, at first I got the black screen as well this morning. After clearing my cache and history (again and lord knows why I bother) I was back to the frozen, quarter-length bar.... Hey, maybe that's a new companion to the BSOD .. the FQLB!

Well I was in and fine this mornning. But around 12:45 CDT i got a two minute delay on message window and then everything froze. Tried logging back in but no login window available now. Seems to be the Sunday curse.
