Trouble accessing the boards

I can only get on occassionally. Sometimes, the screen just says "Done" at the bottom. Anyone else having problems?

Me too! I just tried to reply and got a "Forbidden:
you are not authorized to access" message before getting
through. Many times lately I've gotten a "the server is too
busy now; try back later" message.
It can be frustrating. Does anyone have any clues as to the
cause of these problems?

Yes, I am having the same problem. It did it when I tried to reply to this thread. Also, sometimes when I try to read a thread it says that I am not authorized to view the thread. That has happened several times just in the last few minutes with threads on this board.

I've been getting the blank screen with "done" on the bottom also. I found hitting refresh brings the page up. I also got the forbidden; you are not authorized message too.

The boards did seem to be up to mischief today. I'm going to move this to our technical support board and see if you can get an answer.

Well, Kath, thanks for fowarding this over here but I believe that all the answers have been given that can be.

Yep, I think we were all experiencing the same things today. I know that there have been some issues with the board software for a while and I would guess that there are new things being tried all along. We could see some new issues come and go and old ones come back and go again before it is all said and done. If you find a way around the problems, such as hitting refresh or something else, stick with it. That is about all that I've found that works as well. I may have to hit refresh a couple of times but it always seems that the page will eventually be displayed.

If anyone else has any more definitive answers, please weigh in here!

I'm also having the same problem with the screen being blank and the bottom lower corner
saying done. Refresh works but it's a pain to have to keep doing it for almost every thread.

Is this something that is going to be corrected?

I noticed this new one tonight too, SGF. Have not seen this one before, but I think all the various gremlins are related somehow.

I have to click Back,then double click on the thread i was trying to read. Some times it works other times it doesn't. What a hassel.

When Dis was down I found some other WDW boards[none like the DIS] but lately they are moving to vBulletin.
