Been trying to choose between Tropicana & BW Mini Suites but there are a few things I just can't find ...
  1. Anyone have current-ish pricing for the cafe/mini mart at Tropicana?
  2. Between the two hotels, which is "quietest"? (as much as an across-the-street Disney hotel can be)
  3. How long does it take to order/eat at Denny's in the morning (to get to rope drop) compared to Best Western's "free" breakfast?
  4. Do either hotel release discounts at a certain time? (similar to Disney discount releases)
Never stayed at Tropicana before and the last time I stayed at that Best Western was 6.5 years ago. Lol.
Just 2 adults staying January 22-26th

I have only stayed at BWPPI out of the 2. I have Tropicana booked for November unless BWPPI opens up. We were there 9/20-9/23. I’m a light sleeper and have never had a problem ( I think this was our 4th stay in a variety of areas and floors). Breakfast is a buffet, so as fast as you want it to be. I do ham, eggs, potatoes and coffee. Sometimes French toast sticks. My daughter has oatmeal and apple juice usually.

1. I don't know in particular what you are trying to price, but in my experience, prices are high. Like $6 for a 1/2 gallon of milk.
2. Trop is the most quiet in terms of noise from Harbor.
3. Only been to Denny's once because it took forever and I'll never do it again.
4. Trop discounts seem random. I've never really seen BWPPI offer discounts.

I don't have an answer for most of your specific questions, but I'll say we've stayed at both many times, but the last few years have been choosing Tropicana due to cheaper price. In my opinion they are virtually the same. The last time we stayed at Best Western something was going on with their breakfast and we got vouchers to go somewhere close for a continental type breakfast. Either way it def. wasn't enough to make us pay more to stay there.

Thank you :)

This is extremely helpful, thank you.
Pricing wise, I was thinking breakfast sandwich type stuff.

This is near perfect information, thank you, truly!
