Tropical Storm Fay has formed off the coast of North Carolina, and is likely to cause some air travel disruption in the Northeast Friday and Saturday.
This is not going to develop into a hurricane, but when winds reach tropical storm strength, airlines stop flying. Worse than that, they reposition their aircraft and crews out of harms way well before winds reach that level -- so they're probably already moving.
Here's a simple map with the most likely arrival times of tropical storm force winds -- not good news if you're traveling this weekend.
