Does anyone know if the tropical storm has affected the Member cruise? It looks like it is heading out to the Atlantic.

Just one reason why I'd never book a member cruise in Aug or Sept.

Last week of August seems to be problematic for hurricane/tropical storm activity!

Katrina hit New Orleans last week of August, 2005, last week of August, 2011 another huge hurricane/tropical storm "going on"...Seems like this time period is really a gamble! Wish the Member cruise was beginning of October, maybe even around Columbus Day! Certainly would be too worried about weather to do August!

But that is probably why they schedule the Member Cruise in Aug and Sept. More vacancy on the ships.

I don't pay much attention to cruises, but it shouldn't have much effect on anything but N. Atlantic shipping Wednesday to Friday.
