Has anyone stayed at this resort? If so do anyone use their shuttle system to Disney or Seaworld? It looks like a very nice and relaxing resort and my husband and myself would like a place to just relax at. Any info would be appreciated.

We have never stayed at TP but are staying there next week. We made our decision to stay there based on the many positive reviews on this board. I will let you know how we like it when we get back.

We do not plan to use their shuttle service. Hopefully someone else will be able to help you with that information.

We have been there many times and have always enjoyed it. At certain times of the year it is crowded. New Year's is especially crowded. We have never used the shuttle to Disney.

I suggest you send them an email if you have specific questions about the shuttle.

It is very relaxing there.

I booked Tropical Palms for next year. I have read nothing but good reviews and it looks like a great place, We will go with Rental Car as most offsite shuttles are not that good.

Love it, love it, LOVE IT !!!

Never used their shuttle though..

I drove through it last week just to check it out. Looks cute!!! The studio units look smaller in person than they do on the website. The pool's nothing fancy, but it looked clean. There were lots of shady areas; I would definitley ask to get in one of those areas if you're going in the summer.

I am going for the first time in late Oct 2004 - but have a good friend who has stayed there 4 times and just loves it for her family -- they rent a car and have not tried the shuttle . Michelle

Would you suggest this place or stay onsite at all-stars for myself and teenage son?It is just the 2 of us, don't need much room.

Thanks

Are you back yet? Did you like Tropical Palms ?? Thanks for any info -- Michelle

I would stay in the All-Stars sports if would not have rental car. But if have rental car to get around. I would not do offsite withour a rental car.

Are there any recent reports on Tropical Palms? I'm planning on staying there in November. I've heard good things, but nothing recently. Thanks!

My interest is sparked about this resort. I looked it up on Yahoo and some descriptions says it is a RV site..Is it just for families with RVs or is everyone welcome to the resort? :wave2:

It's a great place for everyone. There is a campground on one side, and cabins/homes on the other side. Sometimes we take our motor home and stay, other times, we love the cabins. My boys love to sleep up in the loft area!! My dad collects old cars and as it is walking distance to Old Town and the weekend car shows, we spend alot time there!!
