I am THRILLED to say that my DSs have NOT picked up using the word "wicked"! LOL We've been living here for over 5 years now, and when we first moved here they started saying it a little, probably from hearing their new friends say it. Now, they NEVER say it, thankgoodness. lol DS14, especially, is proud of his NJ roots and you'd never know he's been living in New England for 5 years DS11 has a western PA accent, but THAT he gets from his genes from ex-DH. LOL DS11 doesn't sound like he's from MA or NJ! LOL

Down here if you use the waord Wicked you will get plenty of strange looks! A few years ago we met up with Carol and her DD's, they used it all of the time! Its crazy how words seem to vary so much. In talking we noticed that words that are popular here now, were popular up north a few years before!
Awesome is used alot here, as well as Cool.
