Hey everyone!
I had posted a few months back that my mom and I were planning a trip to Universal specifically to visit the WWoHP. We absolutely loved the WWoHP!! I don't like thrill rides but because of my HP obsession, I vowed to try the FJ ride at least once. We stayed at Disney and then took Mears over to Universal. We met two other mother-daughter groups on the bus and we stuck together to do FJ. It was tons of fun, and I loved the ride - I even wound up riding it 3 more times that day! We also saw the Ollivander show, saw the Triwizard pep rally, ate at the Three Broomsticks, and walked through the rest of the WWoHP. Also, I have a nut allergy and was able to have the butterbeer (they told me the FDA has certified it as nut free but it is made in a bakery)! The frozen was delicious!
I'd say that if anyone is a big HP fan, it is definitely worth a trip to Universal. I have to say I didn't like the rest of Universal. I'm too much of a Disney purist and don't like thrill rides so there was really nothing else for me there. We bought the Costco tickets, which worked out well because we were able to go both parks and can go back to HP as an excursion on another WDW trip. I liked Islands better than Studios because it had theming and we thought the Dr. Seuss land was cute, in addition to the WWoHP.
Definitely a successful trip!
