We are coming in on Saturday for 6 days. I have been watching the accuweather forcast. If it is in the low 70's, is it really shorts weather??
How about sandals, capris for night times. We are coming with DS's 8 and 5 and DD 4. Thanks. I am just trying not to pack our whole house!!!!!!!

I always take one pair of long pants (jeans) - I wear them down on the plane with a light winter jacket. That way if I'm in the parks late at night and it gets cool, I'm prepared. I just tie the winter jacket around my waist during the day and then wear it at night when it gets cool. But I'm cold natured. My husband just ties a hooded sweatshirt around his waist and then wears it at night when it gets cool. I guess you could say we dress in a layered style for a winter trip. :flower:

We're coming in this week, too, and I'm packing capris mostly (and my bathing suit as the pools are heated). Don't forget the sunblock. I got sunburned two years ago in early February. It was low 70's and I actually got sunburned. Couldn't believe it.

We just got back on Sat. It was in the 70s mostly when we were there. We were fine in shorts or capris. The kids wore shorts every day except our last day (FRI) it was more like 50s/60s so we wore pants. Still nice though. I don't know where you're coming from but we're from Boston so it felt great!!
Also, if you are staying in a villa you can always do laundry. I did: I brought 2 prs shorts, 2 capris, 1 jeans & I washed after I wore just in case.
Also, look at weather.com for a 10 day forecast. I thought that was helpful for the last minute packing!

We were there two weeks ago. Most days it was in the low to middle 60's with about a third of the day hitting the seventies. Yes, you could wear shorts during the day, but depending on the low at night (one night it got in the 30's but most were in the mid to high 40's or warmer) you will need long pants and at least a (hooded) heavy sweatshirt. We get a locker so we don't have to tote things all day (we usually put the sweatshirts away mid-morning) and then get the stuff out at about dinner time and keep it out the rest of the day.

I live just under 1 1/2 hrs north of WDW and it has been really nice the past couple days. Last weekend was really cold at night, but I think that is over and done with. I would think shorts would be fine for during the day. I would kae sure though to bring a pair of pants or two just in case. I'm not sure what the weather is supposed to be like this weekend. Enjoy your trip to the Sunshine State!
