It was not as busy as I expected it to be, although Sunday and Monday were fairly busy. Tuesday was by far our lightest day. The weather was perfect, although some nights got a little cool.
PROS
Paint the Night was magical.
Disneyland Forever – I am normally not one to get excited about fireworks, but this show as AMAZING.
Cast Members- They were all friendly and helpful with the exception of one.
The Characters- My nephew said this was his favorite part of the trip. We did Mickey’s surf’s up where we met Stich, Mickey, Minnie, Daisy and Pluto. Stich was so much fun. My daughter danced with him three times. At Ariel’s Grotto we met Snow White, Belle, Cinderalla, Ariel, and Tiana. Around the parks we met Donald Duck, Winnie the Pooh, Tiger, Eeyore, The Fariy Godmother, Captain America, Spiderman. We also met Elsa and Anna. They were so much fun.
The Paradise Pier- The staff was great, especially, the Valet Staff. I did not experience any of the other problems that people complained about. I only had to wait an extended period of time for the elevators one time and we were there 5 nights and 6 days. The showers and the water pressure were great. The room was clean.
the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique- We loved this place. My daughters Fairy Godmother in training was phenomenal. She made my daughter feel so special. We did The Castle Package, with the full makeover, photoshoot. We were then walked over to the Fantasy Faire where she was introduced as a royal princess, and given VIP access to meet 3 Princesses.
The Churros- The best ever.
CONS
The Wifi at the Paradise Pier was awful.
Aladdin’s Oasis- The food was not at all edible. I am glad I knew this going in. I purchased the Paint the Night on the Go package.
The Paint the Night on the Go Package reserved area- When we first wen to line up we found that they had already blocked off a large section for various VIPS. Some of these VIP’s included make a wish kids. I do not mind this, but it would have been nice to know this in advance to give people the chance to book another night or time. Part of the section was let unattended so several people snuck in and took up great spots. We were still able to get a great spot right in front on the curb.
Extra Magic Hour- This was not quite as beneficial as I remember. There should be a couple of security lines dedicated to those with room keys only. There were too many others dragging down the security lines.
