March 18, 2011 MK and Chef De France
Well, this is our last full day at our home away from home. The inevitable depression is setting in!....lol
.anyway, today we got up really early and headed over to MK so the girls could see Tiana and Rapunzel. We got there around 8:30am and the girls headed over to see Tiana while we got in line for Rapunzel and Flynn Ryder. We made it in time to get in to the 10:15am show. The girls sent us a text and said they were 2nd in line and Tiana was going to be there at 9:30am, so it was working out perfect.
While we were waiting, I ran over to Space Mountain and got a FP for approx. 11am. It was all timing out perfectly! The girls got to see Tiana and then they came over in time to get in to see Rapunzel and Flynn Ryder at 10:15am. They were both ecstatic!
After they were done we headed over to Space Mountain for our FP

it had broken down and was out of service!!....I dont know if its just the ride
but the last few times we have tried to get on the ride, it is always down!.....oh well maybe next time!
Since we had done most of MK on the previous days, we went back to the resort and hit the pool and relaxed until it was time to leave for our ADR at Chef de France. We had a nice afternoon and headed over to Epcot around 5pm. We got to Chef De France around 6:30pm and it took around 15 minutes to be seated. We had a very nice server, but she was a little soft spoken and it can be loud in there, and it was! My DW & DD had the Lobster Bisque and DDs friend didnt have any appetizer. I had the French Onion Soup. For our Entrée all 3 girls had the Chicken and I had the Short ribs. It was all very good as usual. For dessert, DW and I had the Crème Brulee and DD and her friend had the Prefitorals (Splt?) As usual, we had a great meal and it was a fitting end to the week. We shopped around a bit and headed back to the resort. We had to Pack!!
March 19, 2011 Leaving Travel Day:
We woke up around 9am to finish the last minute packing and drop off our bags at Airline Check in. We had a small issue with the Airline check in, but it all worked out in the end. Our flight was at 6:30pm so we had some time to kill. I thought we could hit a park or do something else, but mostly the Girls just wanted to explore the resort and relax. I think we were all coming to grips with leaving and were a little sad.
DME picked us up around 3:30pm and we headed to the airport. We had a bite to eat and got on the plane around 5:45pm. The plane left on time, thank god, and it was a great flight. The only issue was when we were landing. The Captain came on the PA and told us it was cloudy and 33 Degrees!! Oh well back to Reality!
Overall:
The trip was wonderful. We packed a lot of things into 8 days. The Weather was soooo nice!.....it was 75 to 80 and sunny every day!
Other than the flight there (with the 7 hour delay) this vacation was AWESOME! And we cant wait to go back. Now I have to finish this TR so I can get on to planning or next trip!....
