We had a great time on our trip. We got there on Jan 8 (Sat) and it was medium crowds I guess. The marathon was going on, which I was sort of worried about. Wasn't that bad I guess except at Magic Kindgom that night. We rode Mears which had a 30 minute wait so we had to wait again after getting off the plane. :guilty: We went straight to Magic Kindgom after calling the front desk to change rooms because we had two full beds and there was just the two of us. At Magic Kingdom we only had like 3 hours to be there before they closed and we didn't want to see Wishes. We just went to ride Haunted Mansion and then Buzz Lightyear. Haunted Mansion was our longest wait with 20 minutes before being seated. It was great! :cool1: After that we went to Downtown Disney. We had a great first night there with light wind and no rain! :wizard:

The second day we were there, we went to Animal Kingdom in the morning. The runners were going through the park that day for the half marathon, which we will try and avoid next year. Not too bad, just had to wait for gaps in the runners' paths to pass some paths. We did Tough to be a bug, Dinosaur, the animal path thingys where you can see the animals Kilaminjaro Safari. After we had our fill of rides we went to MGM. At MGM we got to do everything we wanted to except for the rides that had special times like Indiana Jones and the Backlot tour. :guilty: Pizza planet closed and we couldn't go in there. I loved being in MGM in 2003-2004 December 28th-Jan6. The magical level goes way down just in a week's time! I missed seeing the lights and Christmas stuff up. Anyway, I'll try to write more later.

By the way...we found it very frustrating to have people bringing elderly people to Disney and using the busses where we had to wait 30-45 minutes to get them loaded onto the bus because they needed full assistance to get on, get seated and get the wheelchair on. The family members weren't even helping. It really sucked. There was one elderly woman who didn't even look like she was conscience the whole trip they were there. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying they shouldn't go, but the family either needs to help the driver or not take the busses and hold up everyone else. :guilty:

Gee, glad you're not going to be there in a couple weeks when we are. There will be three in our party with scooters riding the buses sometimes. Glad you had a good trip, despite being inconvienanced.
