Day two we were up early, ready to go. DL opened at 8am and CA at 10am. So we took the 7:40 shuttle to the parks and avoided the huge line again by walking in at 8am in the early entry line all the way to the left. We immediately got FP's for Indiana Jones and rode Pirates with no wait. Did Haunted Mansion with no wait. DH went to get FP's for Space Mountain and we rode Pooh and Peter Pan again. DD wanted to meet characters, so we went to the front while the boys rode Indiana. In front of Main Street (by the tree) we met Ghepetto, Pinnochio, Alice, Mad Hatter and Snow White and Minnie. DD and I sat down on a bench by the tree to wait.
A Cast Member approached us and looked at my daughter and said "this is too perfect!" (She was dressed in an Aurora Gown, crown and gloves.) He asked our family to be the Grand Marshal of the "Parade of Dream" at 3pm. of course, we said yes!!!! We had to fill out quite a few forms and he told us to meet him at the cast entrance at 2:30.
By this time is was 10:30, which dashed my 10am entrance into CA, but we were so excited! We went to CA, got FP's for Soarin' and rode Grizzly River Rapids with no wait. We then rode the Zephyr at Paradise Pier and ate a $34 lunch at McDonald's there. We then rode Mullholland Madness, Soarin and walked around Bug's Land. At this point we had to go back to DL for our Parade.
We met the cast member at the front of Main Street and he took us over to the gate. He gave us all golden Mickey Ears and asked if we had a nice day so far. I told him we had not met Mickey. Sure enough, he went behind the gate and sent out Mickey. It was awesome....we felt so special!!
The Parade was awesome, we rode through the park and waved to everyone! Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore and Mary Poppins were dancing with our float. After wards, we got a roped off, front row seat to watch the rest. We also got a bench seat for the nighttime Christmas Parade.
