Sorry it has taken a couple of days to get htis up. the kids have been unwell and I have been running after them.

First of all a little background to our trip; 4 weeks ago Sil had emergency op to remove inflamed gallbaldder, was touch and go if she would be fit enough to travel, thankfully she was. 2 weeks before trip Logan came down with the chicken pox,was kept away from everyone else who had not had the CP incase they got it just as we were due to travel.
Saturday 10th March, all packed and DP goes out to fill up car with petrol for early morning drive to the airport. Comes back and tells me the brakes have gone on the car.
Luckily his van has seats which come out when he is using it for work. Off he goes to clear out work van and put in the seats for the trip to the airport. Phone sil who offers to take 1 of my kids in their car.
Sunday 11th march 4am. Wake up with splitting sore head
and sore throat, get the kids up, ready and into car and van. Head off to the car parking place and load everyone onto the bus and off to the airport we go. Arrive at the airport in plenty of time. Small wait at check in queue. Hand over the passports to the check in girl, DP puts 1 case on the weigh in machine, knocks the table and 2 passports fall between desk and conveyor belt. aaaaaaaaaaggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhh. The girl tries to get them, but has to call security. The man comes with a gripper thingy and tries, but they are stuck under the belt. After about 15 minutes, DP, Bil and security man lift the converyor belt up and out while the girl and I are on all fours on the floor trying to reach the passports. Yeh got them
Starting to think this holiday is jinxed.
Get on plane and off we go. After about an hour the pilot comes on and tells us that fog is over Beauvais airport and we will circle for 10 minutes to see if it improves. Knowing our luck it won't and it doesn't. We are diverted to Lille airport about another 20 minutes flying time. Get off at Lille collect our luggage and head for the bus, put on to take us back to Beauvais airport. 2 hours later we arrive at Beauvais and pick up our hire cars. Set off on our journey to DLP. Half way into the journey we are stuck in traffic, I look at DP and tell him we don't normally come this way, we have taken a wrong turn. Eventually we find the correct road we should be on and make our way to the hotel.
Arrive at the hotel at 7pm, 7 hours after we should have arrived. As we are checking in, Minnie and Goofy are in the reception. The kids are all excited that they are at their hotel. The receptionist tells me she has 8 fantasyland breakfast tickets for me for Monday morning, would I like them. Can't believe my luck and take them.
We get back in the cars and head to the Val d'Europe. We know where that is as we normally stay at the L'elysee hotel across from it. Have a meal in the Pizza Del Arte. Lovely meal and cheap.
Go back to the hotel around 10pm, into bed and hope tomorrow we will have a bit more luck.
