A little bit about us first...
Me - Ema (34), kind of Disney mad
DH - Jeremy (36) who doesn't remember what Disneyland in Tokyo looked like
DD1 - Mia (almost 6, well 6 in July) who loves everything Disney but is scared of the villains
DD2 - Anya (19months) who is in love with Winnie the Pooh and Mickey Mouse
After waiting for sooooo long, the day had come!!! We were so excited telling the girls we were going to see Mickey Mouse etc. They were excited as well especially Mia who almost didn't sleep. Eh, neither did I.
The alarm went at 6am and both me and DH were up. Made coffee, had a shower and slowly woke the girls up. It was a bright morning in London and we were so happy to see clear skies. Booked a cab for 7.30 as we wanted to give ourselves plenty of time to get to St. Pancras - it was a Monday morning and even though we live in Highbury (just one stop to Kings X) it could be a challenge. And it was, we got stuck in the traffic but made it ok in the end. Found the Eurostar terminal and got lovely little bags for the girls with different activities. Got on the train and in no time we were there
Can't really explain the feeling we had when we got there, it was just too overwhelming and too exciting. It was like being home and away from the real world. It was just amazing... I never thought I'd feel like that, especially not on our fourth visit - so feel free to call me Disney mad

The weather was sunny and after dropping the bags off at the Disney Express desk, we headed to the park. It wasn't too crowded considering it was school hols in France and UK. Got the programme and saw that Mary Poppins show was just about to begin so we found a nice spot to wait. It was short but fun and we all enjoyed dancing to the songs. And then, the sky turned grey and it started to rain but not drops, it poured
Anya said she wanted to go in the buggy which meant she wanted to sleep so we did that while Mia waited for an autograph from Mary and Bert.

We then waved at Mickey and headed towards Casey's where we 'bumped' into Minnie who was happy to say hello to us and sign Mia's book

Had hot-dogs at Casey's, as good as I remembered and then went in the queue for the cars at Autopia. The queue was enormous and by then it was sooooo cold I was freezing. Anya luckily was asleep so I looked after her while Mia and Daddy were waiting to 'drive' the car. I think we spent an hour there. By then I was annoyed and a little unhappy... Just wanted to be sunny again! Not a lot to ask for
After Autopia, we went to WDS to get the programme,to see if we could at least see one of the HSM shows. There was one just about to start which was great as it becase sunny again
Me and Mia got a good place to watch the show but sadly had to be cancelled because it poured down again and it started hailing
. We got into the cafe to keep away from the hail and rain and when it stopped Mia wanted to go on Small World. So wish came true and we were happy to be going on our special ride - we just love this one! Said hello to a few characters and slowly made our way to Sequoia Lodge to finally check in and have a little play, had dinner there and went to bed hoping Day 2 would be better in terms of the weather...
