Trip report 5/19 -5/22 Dream

I'll try & keep this short & sweet 1st cruise for my wife & myself.

Stayed the 17th & 18th at Pop Century, had a 12:45 pickup at the POP on the 19th. Bus left on time & we were at the port 1:50ish or so. Breezed through security with no problems (had a bunch of booze) in my back pack. Went up stairs & found the main terminal to be a mass of humanity... Filled out the medical forms & got in line for checkin. The line was down to the elevators & curled around to the escalators. Luckily we got pulled out of line after about 10min & sent down to the Castaway Club checkin area. Checkin there went very quick & we got a boarding number of 23. About 5min later the called boarding for all remaining numbers, so on the ship we went. The ship was impressive! We had rm 10012, loved it! Went up the stairs to deck 11 & saw the spa & took a tour. (we had the couple spa suite reserved later on the trip) Stuck around for the drawing at the spa, but didnt win anything. Wife wanted to see the launch party so she watched it & i ate soft serve ice cream. Went back to our room for the ship leaving port. Loved having the veranda for watching the ship come into & leave port! Had the 2nd dinner seating, AP for the 1st night, good food! Watched the new Pirates movie at 12:01 am on the 20th of May in the Buena Vista theatre (2D) Loved seeing the movie while on the seas! After going to bed at 02:30 or so we awoke to watch the ship come into port in Nassau. Went to Cabanas for breakfast, thought the food line was a disorganized mess... DCL PLEASE FIX THIS! Make the line run ONE direction please! We did the Atlantis excursion tour, which was fun, but we wont get off the boat again in Nassau, just dont see the point. Back on board we had the early show which was the Villians show. We both were kinda iffy on this show, didnt see the end of it bc we had dinner at Palo this night. Palo.... LOVED IT!!! Our server was Nicole & she was GREAT! Great food, great night! This night was the Pirates party, i was in the 687 bar watching the San Jose Sharks beat the Vancouver Canucks!!!! Wife went up on deck to watch the fireworks, which she said were ok. Awoke again the next morning to watch the ship port at CC. Breakfast at EG this morning, much more calm relaxing place for breakfast. Did the feeding of the rays on CC, which was fun! Went down to Serenity Bay for awhile before heading back to the ship. Once back on board we rode the aquaduck, which was a ton of fun, wish we had more time to ride it again. Had the couple choice massage booked in the couple villa, so we headed there. Another great time, very relaxing loved it. Dinner was at RP this last night, the food was good, but i coulda ordered room service that night, left hungry. Did some walking around the ship exploring it after dinner. Breakfast was at RP the last morning, it was good. We walked off the ship & i'd say all told it took maybe 30-40min before we were on bus. (we were staying at AKL afterwards, the DCL bus broke down on the 417 near the Orlando airport, but there was a replacement bus there ASAP & all told we were stopped for at max 15min before on the new bus & back on our way to AKL) Whewwwwwwww! Loved the cruise, we booked another for 2012 a 7 day on the Fantasy 5/12
