We leave in 6 days for our trip! It's hard to believe it is finally here!

I just had a couple of questions.

First of all, do I really need to bring much cash with me? I plan on paying for tips with cash, but for everything else I am fine using my magic band to charge to the room. It just feels weird taking so little cash on a big trip. Am I missing anything that I will need cash for?

Also, it has been many years since I have flown. Does anyone have any useful tips or hints? Things to carry on, what not to carry on? How early to get to the airport (our plane leaves at 6:05 am!)? We will be flying Southwest, which is new for me as well. Will hairspray or mousse of anything like that be an issue? What about food/ cold packs?

I appreciate your input! I am so excited for our first trip to WDW, but am getting a little nervous about making sure everything is set and ready!

1 I have never needed cash at Disney since they take CC just fine I think the only think that I have heard that dose not take CC is the people selling balloons on the street but this might have changed, there are ATM at Disney if you need it

2 I would have in your carry on anything you can not live with out ( meds if you have any,) and attest one change of cloths ( inane they loses you lunges/ it gets delayed and you are with out it ( I think it you use DME it will take a few hours for you to get your things.

3 each airpot is different I have been to some that you only need to show up 30 minutes early ( and this is for rush hour) other you have to show up 2 hours early ( and this is for non rush hour) so you need to decided what your airpot is like how busy it will be and give your self enough time.

you can take 3oz in a quart size bag and this is it. if you want to have food I suggest you get it at Disney there are stores near by and some will deliver, ( I forget the name if the deliver serves something like garden grossers )you can bring ICE packs in flight as long as they are 100% frozen ( and I am not sure if this is just allowed to keep medicine cold or not) but agin I think you will be better to buy your food here.

Thanks for your response!

I've been reading up a bit and am feeling better about flying. Hopefully it will all go smoothly!

300 ml isn't much at all. I'm guessing that can't apply to babies and their milk/formula? (Totally off topic, but they need to eat!)

I decided not to pack much food. I think the less I am lugging around the better!

2 more days now! I am so excited! :flower1:
