Travel home

Hey Sonno, we'll be at ASMo 9/27-9/30. I see you're eating at Sci-Fi at 2pm on the 27th...we have reservations there at 3pm on the 27th! Look for my green Mickey tag hanging from my bag and say "HI"!

Looks like you're going to have a blast!

In case you didn't know this, here's a fun idea: on your MK day, be one of the first to go to Tom Sawyer's Island (it opens at 10am). They hide 5 paintbrushes on the island each morning and if you fnd one, you get a free fastpass for your party for either BTMR or Splash Mtn.

We did that last Aug. and it was fun to look for it and even more fun to find it ... plus I see it's your child's birthday that day, which could make it extra special! pixiedust:

:bday:

Since you'll have a little one with you, I hope you can get him to take a nap before heading to Chef Mickeys and Pleasure Island. Sounds like a long day and night after all that traveling!

I'll be wearing a green tag, and I'll have one on our door at ASMo. I'll definitely look for ya.
If you're gonna be at ASMo then, click the link in my sig and make a post!

Sounds great, I'll look for ya too! We're in a Preferred room, but that could be Fantasia, Toy Story or Dalmations...

I read something about this somewhere... and forgot about it. Thanks! I'll have to try and fit this in there somewhere.

Hi! We will be at MK on Monday 9/25 too. After breakfast at CRT(8:15) we're heading over to Frontierland. Hope to see you there!

Sounds like you are going to have an amazing time, however, I echo dixiedizfan's advice on taking a break with young kids (even old kids really). Have a great trip.

I'll be wearing my green mickey, look for us!

I will be there that week also but you'll find me at the pool most afternoons. I found out the hard way last time we went to WDW that my girls (then 10 & 6) could not go all day and all night. This time we're going to the parks early, avoiding EMHs, and most of all no early mornings after late nights. We'll hit each park early once and the other days we'll be sleeping in. Hope you have a great time! :)

We'll be at ASMo that week also. The only day our plans coordinate is Monday when we are doing MK and Crystal Palace. I'll be the really big little girl who is too excited to eat and bouncing up and down in her seat! :rotfl:

We will also be in the World that week. We are staying at POFQ. We are both scheduled to be at Chef Mickey's on Sat, we have a 6:40 adr. I don't know exactly what we will be wearing, I am hoping to get us some matching shirts made. I know once we leave CM we will be heading to MK and straight for Buzz Lightyear (this is our 1st ride tradition-we love it). We are family of DM, DH, and DD (8yrs old). Maybe we will see each other. Have a GREAT week!!! I am hoping for light-mod crowds.

Hello Sonno! I think we 'bumped' into each other on another thread... we'll be there 9/23-9/30 (Free Dining... gotta love that!), only we'll be at Pop. Maybe we'll see ya- we'll have the lime green HD mickeys on our back packs and we'll more than likely be wearing matching shirts each day... at least the twins will! DH is 6'6" and I'm only 5'4" so we kind of stand out anyway! Have a great trip!

-Sat 9/23 7:30 dinner at Contemporary only we'll be at Concourse
-Sun. we're at MK too! EMH as well
-Wed. at MGM looks much like your day right down to Fantasmic
-Thurs. we'll be at Epcot in WS all day

Hi Sonno,

Here's something I noticed. On Tuesday 9/26/06 the park is open till 5pm and you are having dinner at Boma's at 6:30pm and then La Nouba at 9pm. It only takes a few minutes to get to AKL from AK. I would make dinner earlier. Plus, it has always taken us a long time at Boma's even with ADR's. We usually have a wait and there is always tons of people waiting in the lobby. I worry that you won't have enough time to get to La Nouba at 9pm. To me, I'd want to get to La Nouba early, relax and enjoy waiting for the show.

Just something to think about. I've never done La Nouba before, but I will next year. We plan on doing it on a Beach day and then coming back early and we would probably have dinner at Downtown Disney prior to the show.

Heyas!

I made the ressie for 6:30 so we'd have a chance to get cleaned up and stuff before heading to the AKL. That and we like to wander the AKL grounds a bit. I figure if we spend 60-90 mins eating and it takes 15-20 mins to get to DTD we'll get there about 8:30 or so. Trust me, I if I have to hurry our party thru the buffet to make the show on time, then so be it! :teeth:

Good you have a plan. I just wanted to point that out in case you hadn't thought it out. Although I can't imagine most people here on the DIS not thinking it out lol. I think the majority of us are OVER thinkers when it comes to our vacations!!

Have a great time! I can't wait to do La Nouba next year!
