Trip paid off? Check! Plane tickets? Check!

Whoo! I am so excited! We booked a totally spur of the moment trip on August 12th...we had no money saved for it and weren't planning on going on vacation or anything...

Well we put our minds to it and didn't go out or do anything fun for the last month and we managed to pay off the $1700 for the trip with cash and I literally just bought our plane tickets on Southwest, we got awesome non-stop flight times and they were $10 cheaper for each ticket than the last time I checked! WHOO!

ETA: I just got off the phone with Disney and we arranged Magical Express now as well! WHOO! I can't believe we are actually going! I so wasn't expecting a trip! This is my dream trip...MNSSHP and F&W! YES!

Thanks! I was so tempted to put it on a card just for the peace of mind that we paid Disney on time but we resisted temptation and paid cash within a month of booking No debt! We aren't bringing any credit cards with us, either.

We just paid our balance as well and it's so nice knowing that the trip is paid for, including the airfare, and now we just wait!

We are still paying ours off (only just booked the go next October so still got plenty of time), but I'm trying to be good and pay it off early (our balance is due end of July 2012), so we are being organised and selling our old stuff (yay for ebay...one women's junk is another teasure it turns out ) and collecting our loose change...seems to be going well so far!
