Trip of a “Million Dreams” Well laughs anyway*Last Installment 4/2 pg 12,#171 w/Pics

What a great trip report, I'm absolutely loving it, you have me laughing constantly!!!! Can't wait to see how the trip continues!!!!

Okay, here is an excerpt of a trip report that I wrote back in 1999 for Mouse Planet.

I had some how ended up with a Cinnamon & Sugar Beavertail from Canada. A thin pastry like thing, I had a bite and then offered to share it with the rest of the family, I won't ever make that mistake again, I hear it was really good.

I had been waiting all trip for one of these, I heard so much about them and then to only get one bite, a small bite at that was devastating. Of course I never got back to get another one on that trip and then they closed the stand down permanently some time after that.

BITTER PARTY OF ONE

Thanks for hanging in there and reading

:rotfl2: That's what you get for sharing :lmao:

They are good aren't they? I haven't had one in years.

Tinkerbell’s Mom and blue_river, thank you for your support and comments, knowing that someone is actually enjoying our report motivates me to get the next installment up.

It’s getting a little hostile around home; everyone is complaining that they don’t like my choice of pictures.

Oh Well

As my late Great Grand Pappy John used to say “Camera’s Don’t Lie Sonny, So quit your belly aching”

Next installment should be up soon.

Thanks again

The Plan:
MGM in the morning
ADR11:40-Lunch-Sci-Fi Dinner
Animal Kingdom in the early evening
Downtown Disney/Pleasure Island in the late evening
Actual
Weather 80’s AGAIN/Humid-Not quite as bad

I was up early and trying to be as quiet as possible so as not to wake my better half, I got myself a bowl of cereal and watched “The Buzz” a morning news show that I watch when in Florida, not sure why I like to watch this show, I guess it is like a car wreck you don’t want to look at it you just can’t help yourself.

Today the whole group decided to get up and head over to MGM this morning. We get to the bus stop at the lodge wait a few minutes for a bus and then we are on our way to MGM. This had to be the longest bus ride we had our whole trip; we speculate that it was do to the half marathon that was run today. It took about 25 minutes to get to the park there was traffic everywhere. We got to MGM about 9:20 and Indy1 and TinkerBoo headed to Tower of Terror for Fastpasses for everyone while we did some shopping, go figure, we travel 3,000 miles to shop. When we all joined up again we headed for the Great Movie Ride, Sorceress’s favorite attraction in the whole world. We got the gangster show, which scared Eeyore a bit; I think she thought that they were using real bullets. The gangster that joined us reminded me a bit of Rosie O’Donnell (I’m sure the “Donald” would approve of what happens to her in the temple). We then had an encounter with the Alien, once again we forgot to warn Eeyore as to what to expect, but come on she has know us for 6 or 7 years, she should know better by now. We finished our trip through the movies without too much singing along by certain people (Sorceress does have a lovely voice) and headed off for our 11:25 ADR’s at Sci-Fi dinner.

Now when we booked this trip we decided to do it as a “Grand Gathering” since there were 9 of us. The size of our group did pose some seating problems when it came to sit down eating establishments; some of our ADR’s were made with the understanding that we may not be able to sit together as one big group. This was our first ADR were that was an issue, the CM informed us that we would have to be separated into two cars (tables) but they would get us as close as possible to each other, which they did. Eeyore, Swimlover, Nugget, Flash and Boot Strap were in a car and the rest of us were at a table, with a car front end and rear end, but normal table and chairs in between, across the isle from them. The food was as good as always, it seemed that the crowd was a little subdued this time, no one was yelling comments about the movie, I was the only one that yelled “Watch Out” to the army guy when the colossal man was about to through the big syringe at him, oh well. A good time was had by all. We did feel that we kind of missed out on some fun and conversation not being able to sit together.

After Sci-Fi Dinner we headed over to the American Film Institute store so the kids could shop (I’m going to need to find another word for this) they were all looking for logo items for their favorite television shows, Grey’s Anatomy, Desperate House Wives and Lost. As for me, I could not find one Susan Dey Partridge Family Show item not even a key chain or poster, what’s up with that, what a bummer.

After we left the shop with merchandise bags in hand we decided that we would go on the back lot tour so we could go back in the American Film Institute store from the other way, go figure, not really we all wanted to see the tour and the displays of movie memorabilia at the end of the tour.

WOW what happen to the back lot tour? I had heard that some of it was gone do to the “Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show”, but I had no idea how much. Even though it was short it was worth it to see Eeyore’s reaction in Catastrophe Canyon, it was priceless and yes we forgot to tell Eeyore about the Flash Flood and as luck (he-he-he) would have it she was on the side of tram that got most of the water. Hey it was a warm day she should be thanking us. After the Back Lot tour we headed back over towards Sunset Boulevard to use the Fastpasses for Tower of Terror. Once we all got back from the 5th dimension into our own reality, we headed to the front of the park through all the shops so we could catch a bus over to Animal Kingdom to try and get a glimpse of the Yeti.

We got to the park and walked through the Oasis and headed for Asia and Expedition Everest, bad news though, it was closed and not expected to open any time soon. So we headed over to Dinoland U.S.A to get Fastpasses for Dinosaur and then headed to Primeval HURL oh I mean Whirl. It turns out that Boot Strap wasn’t tall enough so he, Nugget, Sorceress and I headed over to the Dino Diner for some liquid refreshment and some popcorn while the rest of the group went on the ride. After they got off it was time to use the Fastpasses for Dinosaur so we headed back over there. Once again it slipped all of our minds to warn Eeyore as to what to expect while on the ride. Needless to say the occupants of the car will need to go and get checked for hearing damage from her screams.

dinosaur.jpg

We decided that we would go back by Expedition Everest to see if it was up and running, still no luck, so we decided to get a bit to eat and headed for Flame Tree Barbeque. Indy1 and TinkerBoo decided that they were going to hang out at EE just in case. The rest of us got over to Flame Tree after some discussion about a few people wanting to go out to Rain Forest Café instead of Flame Tree all parties cheerfully decided to eat at Flame Tree, so we got our really good, much better than Rain Forest Café food and sat on the upper patio and enjoyed our really good, much better than Rain Forest Café food and spirited conversation.

Alyssa07090.jpg

Alyssa07095.jpg

We had devoured our really good, much better than Rain Forest Café food and were sitting there when we though we heard Everest running in the distance, we tried to reach Indy1 and TinkerBoo to see if it was back up and running but we had no luck getting through (turns out they were on the ride so they couldn’t hear their phones, Thanks for the phone call guys, here they are having fun instead of calling us)

Ryan07pics122.jpg

so Swimlover, Eeyore , Nugget and Flash decided to go back and take their chances on getting on the ride, Boot Strap didn’t want to go so Sorceress and I took Boot Strap and headed to the front of the park and told them we would meet up with them at the exit. Well it turns out we didn’t get that far before we came across It’s Tough to be a Bug entrance so Sorceress took Boot Strap to see the show, about the time they were getting out here came the rest of the crew after surviving the Yeti attack, Indy1 and TinkerBoo had actually gotten on the ride twice. They all gave it two big thumbs up and said it wasn’t that bad.

Ryan07pics125.jpg

So we all headed to the exit to get a bus back to Wilderness Lodge, on the bus ride back we decided that we would get in some pool time tonight. We got down to the pool around 9:00, went and got our mugs refilled and sat around the pool. A nice family of locals that were also enjoying a night at the pool joined us

Alyssa07125.jpg

Some of the group took a walk down to the lagoon to see the water pageant pass by. Boot Strap kept us entertained with his impressions of different things using pool towels, some of his impressions were hilarious, and how does this kid come up with this stuff? Some of the “skit’s” had us cracking up for reasons we won’t mention hear (family board), thankfully Boot Strap wasn’t paying attention to us so called “Adults”. We finally called it quits around 11:00 and headed to our rooms for some sleep.
Today was a 12 hour day, I think if we don’t take some down time we may be sorry later, so we decided to deviate from “The Plan” tomorrow and take it easy in the morning then head to Magic Kingdom in the afternoon. I stopped off at Whispering Canyon and got an ADR for breakfast, with the understanding that who ever wanted to join me could.

Tomorrow-Will there be any takers on the breakfast invite?

I am loving this trip report!!! I must side with you regarding those non cell phone users...we take ours all the time and nobody ever calls especially with information as important as EE being open!!!!!

I love Boot Straps expression on Dinosaur. I had to laugh :rotfl: . He looks horrified! But, he is adorable.

Love the report, keep it coming...

The Plan:
Epcot in the morning
Magic Kingdom in the evening
ADR-6:50-Dinner-Liberty Tree Tavern

Actual
Weather 80’s/Low Humidity
Well after two very long days in the parks we decided to take it a little bit slower this morning, we had planned on starting off this morning at Epcot, but instead we were just going to enjoy a leisurely start this morning. I had made ADR’s at Whispering Canyon for breakfast at 8:00 a.m. I was joined by Sorceress and Swimlover and we had a very nice breakfast. We all decided to order the skillet breakfast which came with Scrambled Eggs, Red Bliss Potatoes with Sautéed Onions, Bacon, Sausage, Buttermilk Biscuits, Sausage Gravy, and Waffles, with out Flash or Indy1 there we made it through breakfast with only the one skillet. The restaurant was pretty quiet this morning, not to many shenanigans going on, a few requests for ketchup was about it. After our breakfast the Sorceress threw in a couple of loads of wash and while they were running we went and got a table by the pool, Swimlover went back to bed for awhile.

We sat by the pool for a couple of hours just the two of us and it was really enjoyable to relax and be able to spend time with each other while we waited for the wash to finish and the others to start stirring to start their day, well almost their afternoon.

While I was sitting at the table and the Sorceress had taken a load of clothes up to the room I was visited by what I think was a very unique Goose.
Alyssa07089.jpg

Oh, Sorry wrong picture, let’s try that again

Shivahn096.jpg

Shivahn097.jpg

He made a very distinctive noise that I had never heard a Goose make before; it was almost like he had a sinus condition. Eventually Indy1, TinkerBoo and Eeyore came down got some breakfast at Roaring Fork and joined us at the table, followed shortly by Swimlover who had gotten up for the second time today.

We also took this opportunity to update “The Book”, this is something that Nugget started on our last trip to Walt Disney World in 2005. It is a bound book of blank pages; everyone takes one page for each day and must draw their most memorable moments for that day. Needless to say none of us are artists by profession so; there are some very interesting and artistic renderings in “The Book”. I always give her a hard time about having to make my entries, but it is a really cool thing to have. I really like looking at everyone else’s entries.

The rest of the group joined us and we were off to the Magic Kingdom around 11:00 via the launch, we got to the park much faster today, I guess it was because we didn’t run into any Marathon traffic like we did yesterday. Of course I guess we wouldn’t since we were on water and they don’t run the marathon on water so that …never mind. Once we arrived on dry land again and got through bag check and the turnstiles we headed for Adventureland to get Boot Strap on Pirates of the Caribbean. He is really into Pirates these days (wish I owned stock in Fisher Price) with Dinosaurs coming in a close second.

Just an observation while I am thinking about it in regards to the security bag checks at Walt Disney World. I don’t think we waited in any bag check line more than 1-2 minutes our whole trip. When we go to Disneyland on our weekly visits it is not uncommon to spend 10-15 minutes waiting in the bag check lines with the same amount of lines open. Not sure why this happens but wish Disneyland would figure it out and make a change. Don’t even get me started on the turnstile lines in Anaheim.

Okay, back to your regularly scheduled program. So we head through the line for Pirates (I like the Magic Kingdom’s Pirate queue much more than Disneyland’s) it was pretty much a walk on. After we survived our journey with the Pirates we hung around out front so Boot Strap could catch the Jack show. Unfortunately, he didn’t get picked to participate in the show, but it was an enjoyable show. So off we head to Frontierland to take a ride on the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, which we discover is down when we get there. So Boot Strap and Nugget made their own ride.
Ryan07pics127.jpg

Ryan07pics128.jpg

As we are standing around having fun and deciding what were going to do Eeyore over hears a CM say that it is going to open back up in just a few minutes, so the group mills around in front of the entrance to see what happens and sure enough they start letting people in. and we hear the following "Hang onto your hats and glasses, folks, cause this here's the wildest ride in the wilderness!"
Ryan07pics126.jpg

We then headed off back to Adventureland for a ride on the Jungle Cruise, here we encountered a bit of a line, maybe a 15 minute wait, not bad at all lots of things to look at and have fun with.

We had a female Captain who did a pretty job delivering those corny but lovable jokes.

When we were finished and safely back on shore it was time to drive the little remote controlled Jungle Cruise boats AT $2 A POP.

Shivahn117.jpg

Shivahn116.jpg

Once we had lined the pockets of Trader Sam (does he have pockets) we decided that it was time for a trip to Tomorrowland.

Most of the group, except for Sorceress and I went on Stitch’s Great Escape, we decided that we wanted to go on the Tomorrowland Transportation Authority instead (I miss the Peoplemover at Disneyland), we are not big fans of Stitch or Spit. We agreed to meet up at Space Mountain after our rides. We were a little delayed in meeting the rest of the group because the ride on the Tomorrowland Transportation Authority had been so enjoyable and relaxing that as we pulled in the unload area I asked the CM if we could stay on and go around again, so off we went again. We finally made it over to Space Mountain to meet up with the rest of the group. Before heading into Space Mountain we noticed that they were giving out wristbands for Extra Magic Hours so we got in line (not much of one) and got ours. After our wristbands were securely fastened it was time for Space Mountain and what better after a trip through space then to try and save the galaxy from that Evil Zurg guy, so off to Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin. This is a cool ride, but I do like the detachable guns that they have on the Disneyland ride better. This is why along with the fact that Sorceress kept spinning the car, the air condition was blowing too hard and caused the laser beam to be deflected away from the targets and caused my glasses to fog up is why I barely surpassed 100,000 in points. That’s my story and I am sticking to it.

After losing our fight for the universe against Zurg it was time to head back over to Liberty Square for our 6:50 p.m. ADR’s at Liberty Tree Tavern for dinner.

Alyssa07111.jpg

So when we made our ADR’s back in November we were told that they did not have any tables that would accommodate a party of 9, they could do a party of 4 and party of 5 and try and get us as close to each other as possible, we inquired if that was because it was a busy night and should we maybe consider another night so we could sit together? The Cast Member said that they did not have any tables that could handle that size of a party in the restaurant.

Okay we were not feeling the “Magical Gathering” here, but it was requested that we do a character dinner for Boot Strap to have some interaction with the characters and since we had always enjoyed our lunch time experiences here we thought what the heck. So we arrive at Liberty Tree Tavern and check in around 6:40, where we are once again told that they could not accommodate a party of 9 and that we would have to be split into parties of 4 and 5. We tell the Cast Member that we were aware of that and wait for our name to be called.

Eeyore was not happy at all with our first accommodations

Jesspics065.jpg

We got called to our tables around 7:05 and as we following the Cast Member to our tables I notice that we pass a table with 10 people around it, then one with 9 and then as we enter the room that we are going to be sitting in the middle of the room is a round table with a party of 12 (10 adults, 2 children). Well isn’t that “MAGICAL”. What was bothering me is that we were told that there were no tables in Liberty Tree Tavern that could accommodate a large party, and I had just walked by three that could. So we end up ith the tables in the corners of the room, with a 10’ fireplace hearth between us, so too far away to carry on a normal conversation. So it is Nugget, Flash, Boot Strap, Sorceress and I at table #1 and the Indy1, TinkerBoo, Swimlover and Eeyore at table #2. We see a waiter approach table #2 and figure that he will come over to ours next, well not exactly. As TinkerBoo is informing us that the waiter tells them they cannot do one check for both tables, a waitress walks up to our table and informs us that she will be serving us tonight, Great two servers. What is that I am feeling a “Magical Gathering” not really, but Sorceress edited what I really wanted to say.

So we explain that we are together and could we get one check for the two tables and the answer is “NO” from our waitress Ms. Sassy Pants. Not only “No” but she followed it with “Do you want to speak to my manager?” “No, we don’t need to speak to the manager”

We informed her that the reason we would like one check is because we have a Cast Member from Disneyland and we were hoping to be able to use the Cast Member discount for the meal, and would we still be able to get the discount on both checks? Ms. Sassy Pants replies with “You can’t use the Cast Member discount until after 8:30 p.m.”. We told her that we had not heard that before that we had been using it since we arrived at all hours of the day and never had a problem before. Ms. Sassy Pants responds with “That’s the policy. Do you want to speak to my manager?” “MAGICAL YET AGAIN”. We declined the visit with the manager yet again and figure that it wasn’t a big deal to pay two checks and not get the discount. So we proceed to try and enjoy our dinner. Table #2 gets their drink order, and are laughing with the their waiter, Table #1 has yet to be asked about drinks, Table #2 starts getting food delivered, Table #1’s drink orders are being taken, Table #2 is getting seconds of their favorites, Table #1 has drinks no food, see where this is going? Our server was mediocre at best, the service was slow and with far less than a cheerful attitude; the kids said that their waiter was really good. So we (I) try and enjoy our meal, our table for 5 is so small that we can not get everything on the table, I literally had to pull an extra chair that was sitting on the fireplace up to the side of the table to put food on that would not fit on the table. Our server would bring another dish to the table see that there was no place to set it on the table and just hand it to one of us with saying a word and then walk away. It was not my most enjoyable dinning experience at a Disney eating establishment.

We did have some great interaction with the following characters, Goofy, Chip, Dale and Minnie in fact I think they all made it around twice to both tables.

Here are Swimlover and Eeyore with Goofy
Jesspics068.jpg

Indy1 with the main Mouse’s Girl
Jesspics070.jpg

So, just when you think that there cannot be any more drama Ms. Sassy Pants hands me the bill and makes the following statement. “It’s not my fault it’s the policy”. Thinking she is referring to the issue with the Cast Member discount I let the comment go, when we open the bill we see that an 18% gratuity has been added to our bill and the kid’s bill. I inquiry as to why the gratuity has already been added to the bills and Ms. Sassy Pants replies “Because you are a party of 9“ “MAGICAL” Excuse me, but we haven’t been a party of 9 since we walked in the door, why are we all of sudden a party of 9 when the bill gets here? She replies “That is the policy no matter how many tables you are at. Do you want to speak to my manager? YES, as a matter of fact I do this time.

After about a 15 minute wait, the manager walks up and says she understands that we are upset because we didn’t get to use a Cast Member discount. As I am about to inform her that is not the problem she precedes to tell me that her General Manager is in the back printing out the policy about the discount as we speak. I inform her that the issue is with the gratuity being added to the check. She stated that it is policy that if a party registers as a party of 8 or more that the gratuity is automatically added, no matter how many tables that party may end up sitting at. Okay it was not easy for me to do for the third time this trip, but I could tell this was not going to go good at all, so I told her that we were not happy with the events of the evening and thought she should know that and proceed to pay the bills before the vain on my forehead exploded. I would have gladly giving the kids server more than an 18% tip, which we did, however I would not have given our waitress near that much.

There was a division in the group as to the quality of the food, it was pretty well split 50-50 I think, not that anyone thought it was bad, but some of us thought that is was just average with the other half rating it above average. I did not think it was worth the price of over $300.00 for the meal.

After our “Magical” dinner we headed outside to a light drizzle (only precipitation of the trip)

Nugget and TinkerBoo with the California Redneck Umbrella
Ryan07pics144.jpg

and headed over to the Haunted Mansion for a ride with ghost. With our hitchhiking ghost in tow we headed over to Fantasyland and Mickey's PhilharMagic. When the band concert was finished we decided to head to Tomorrowland for a ride on Space Mountain, but when we got there the wait was almost an hour so we passed and headed out to Main Street to exit and catch a launch back to the lodge and in bed by around 11:00 p.m.

Not quite as long a day today, really enjoyed the pool time in the morning, and the evening at the Magic Kingdom, not so much the “Magical” Liberty Tree Tavern dinner, but tomorrow is another day. No set plans for tomorrow as of yet.

You have such a nice family! It sounds like you guys had a great time. By the way I love the reference to Pavlov :rotfl: You aren't alone...my fiancee hates shopping as much as you do but I am more like the women of your family!

I noticed the tinkerbell purse in the pictures love it. :)

Tinker Bell is her favorite villain, she never leaves home with out her.

Not to give anything away about the rest of the trip, but we had a great time. As for the love of shopping I think most men are missing a gene that most women may have two or three of.:goodvibes

The Plan
ADR-7:40-Dinner-California Grill-TinkerBoo/Indy

Actual
Weather 85/Humid
This morning Swimlover, Sorceress and I head off to Epcot and leave the other travelers in slumberland, I think they are planning on hanging out at the Lodge and doing the Water Sprites later, but I am not sure. We got to Epcot after a very slow bus ride, our driver had a friend that was sitting behind him and they were talking the whole way about this and that and the driver was going very slow and not paying much attention to his driving. Now, there were no close calls but when a family of raccoons passed us on the road I thought it was getting a little ridiculous.

Shivahn127.jpg

Shivahn134.jpg

Shivahn136.jpg

So we finally get to Epcot as it’s closing… not really it was only 10:00 a.m. We stop at the Art of Disney store for Sorceress to check on a painting of Le Cellier she saw on the last trip and wanted to get, but never got around to it. They didn’t have the one she wanted this time so it looked like we were out of luck. It seems like every trip we fall prey to the “Well get it later” syndrome, and as luck would have it when and if we get back the item is always gone. So it looked like we were staying true to form.

While the girls did some more shopping I walked ahead to see if there was a chance of getting into Le Cellier for lunch without an ADR. We lucked out and were able to get seated fairly quickly, we were in the providence that is in the back corner (yeah, I don’t always listen when I should) our servers name was Katlin (that I remember) and she talked with us about our past dining experiences here at Le Cellier then took our order of the Grilled Angus Chuck Burger for Swimlover, and the same for Sorceress and I to split along with Cheddar Cheese soup for Sorceress and a Caesar Dinner salad for me.

I know that Katlin brought our drinks and I think she brought some breadsticks, I think she brought the breadsticks because there was a piece of yellow paper in the vase that was on the table where they put them, but I didn’t see any. Now Swimlover and Sorceress looked like Chip and Dale with their puffing checks and there were bread crumbs on their plates and on the table, but they swear that they had not seen any breadsticks yet. So when Katlin brought out the soup and salad I requested more breadsticks, especially the sourdough ones and she said she would be right back. Now I know that she brought some back, because I tackled her as she approached the table and ripped them from her hands to make sure I got at least one sourdough breadstick. Not really, but I did think about it.

Before she put the breadsticks on the table she told us that if she caught us fighting over them that she would punish us severely. Katlin brought us our Angus burgers and they were delicious and done to perfection, I’m never going to be able to order a Burger King Whopper again. We passed on desert, we were just too full, and Katlin said that happened a lot here.

After we paid our bill and said our good-byes we headed out into World showcase and towards the United Kingdom, we just took a leisurely pace enjoying the sites and sounds of course we had to go into all the shops we passed along the way. I took a walk around the garden in the back I had never done that before. We slowly made our way to France for more shopping. Sorceress found a Monet candleholder that she purchased. I was thinking how very nice it would go with the other 1,372 candles we already had in the house.

We made our way over to Morocco and I was determined to take my time here and explore all the area in the back of the pavilion, in all of our trips I had never done that and I am so glad I did this time. There were all kinds of areas that I didn’t even know were back there. I never did find the special Belly Dancing lounge, but there is always next time. We keep saying that we want to eat here, but we are usually to full by the time we make it around to here. I’m starting to think it is a conspiracy to keep me from watching the entertainment that is offered during the meal.

Alyssa07137.jpg

Shivahn126.jpg

We then moved onto Japan and the girls went shopping in the Mitsukoshi department store, while I watched the Matsuriza drummers perform out in the temple courtyard. I have always enjoyed listening to the drums; they used to have a group that played in Downtown Disney area at Disneyland for a while. We got ourselves some Kaki Gori’s cherry for the ladies and my old favorite flavor rainbow. We headed back towards Morocco while enjoying our liquid refreshment so we could catch the Friendship back across the lagoon.

We headed out of the park and caught the bus back to the lodge; the trip back was much faster then the one this morning. We touched base with the rest of the group and made plans to go back to Epcot this afternoon.

Un-Believable moment Alert!!
After a short rest, I headed down to sit by the pool and as I was walking over to a table and chairs I couldn’t believe my eyes there was Jennifer Aniston sitting at the table next to the one I was headed for looking at a park map of the Magic Kingdom, we exchanged greetings and I settled in for a relaxing afternoon. I couldn’t help but notice that Ms. Aniston seemed to be a little frustrated with trying to read the map and being a Gentleman (you all know how good we are with directions) I asked if there was anything I could do to be of assistance. She told me that she was not at all familiar with the parks and felt lost, so of course I offered to be her tour guide if she wanted as I saw a smile coming across her face I heard someone yelling Hey, HEY, are you awake are you going back to Epcot with us or not. I looked up to see Sorceress wanting to know if I was going to get up and go back to Epcot with them. I told her that I was a little tired and thought that I would continue with my nap. She said fine give us a call if you change your mind and come into the park. Okay. Sure no problem I turned over closed my eyes again and now where was I

“I would love for you to escort me around the parks as my personal tour guide” Ms. Aniston said

Okay if all the women here can have Gary “Mission Space” Sinise, then I can have my dreams can’t I, beside isn’t it the Year of a Million Dreams.

Not sure what the group did in Epcot, I know there was talk of Mission Space, Universe of Energy, Test Track and The Sea’s with Nemo and Friends again. There also seemed to be some controversy about who was to meet who where. I got a few phone calls to act as Command Central since some cell phones had gotten left at the lodge and they were trying to get together at The Sea’s, no it was supposed to be at the Electric Umbrella, So and so thought it was the bus stop. All I can say is that after about the 4th call Jennifer (she asked me to call her Jennifer now) told me that maybe we should put of her tour since it seemed like I was a little busy.

As for my evening I got up from my nap, went to the mercantile and picked up a few things, hung out in the lobby and in general did nothing it was GREAT!.

Anyway everyone finally met up at the bus stop at Epcot and got back to the lodge about 9:00 p.m. we all headed down to the pool so everyone could tell their version of what happen during the Epcot Meeting Place Caper. After a few hours and 14 versions of the events of the evening we called it a night.

TinkerBoo and Indy1 had gone to the California Grill tonight for their traditional dinner. They enjoyed themselves, got to see the fireworks and had some really good food. They were a little disappointed in the fact that people without reservations for dinner were allowed into the waiting area to sit and order drinks which made it very crowded and hard to find a place to sit for the guests that had dinner reservations.

We are headed to Epcot again tomorrow; can you tell which our favorite park is?

Hi Great trip report sounds like you all had a great time. At the coke cooling center at Epcot what did you mean except for the very special one that we all know about. I have never been.

Goofster,

Just wanted to let you know I'm really enjoying your report. I love all of the pictures too, you have a beautiful family!

I hope you're able to meet up with Ms. Anniston, or should I say Jennifer, later on in the week. It would be a shame if she got lost!:lmao:

We got to MGM about 9:20 and Indy1 and TinkerBoo headed to Tower of Terror for Fastpasses for everyone while we did some shopping, go figure, we travel 3,000 miles to shop.

:rotfl2: How can you not shop at WDW????

As for me, I could not find one Susan Dey Partridge Family Show item not even a key chain or poster, what’s up with that, what a bummer.

:lmao: I'm not going to comment here.....

Were you able to hit EE later on in the trip??

This paragraph had me :rotfl: Primeval HURL is definately an appropriate name here!!!!

I'm just catching up Goofster. Gee, I get sick with a cold and miss three installments!

We sat by the pool for a couple of hours just the two of us and it was really enjoyable to relax and be able to spend time with each other while we waited for the wash to finish and the others to start stirring to start their day, well almost their afternoon.

It is so nice to have some down time. For our next trip we plan on staying longer so that we may have more time to relax and enjoy each others company.

OH! What a wonderful thing to do. I love this idea. I'm going to steal it and do the same thing for our next trip! :thumbsup2 You should scan a few pages and post them in your trip report Goofster.

I'm not sure how we missed this ride but we did :confused3

Aww...I'm so sorry to hear about this bad dining experience :(

You would think they would have been more accomodating and then to add on the 18%! Wow.

Now, there were no close calls but when a family of raccoons passed us on the road I thought it was getting a little ridiculous.

:lmao: You're a hoot!

Sorceress found a Monet candleholder that she purchased. I was thinking how very nice it would go with the other 1,372 candles we already had in the house.

Hey...you can never have enough candles!!!

I never did find the special Belly Dancing lounge, but there is always next time. We keep saying that we want to eat here, but we are usually to full by the time we make it around to here. I’m starting to think it is a conspiracy to keep me from watching the entertainment that is offered during the meal.

:lmao: Smart wife ya got there ;)

:rotfl: I LOVED this part...:thumbsup2

I'm finally all caught up and waiting for more laughs - just loving this trip report Goofster!

Thank you for your kind words, we did have a great trip.

As for the Club Cool, The sample from Italy called “Beverly” ranks very highly among guest, it is a MUST try for everyone. Enjoy
