Hi everyone, me again. Went on another crazy day trip yesterday with two other friends! It was crowded but we still got a ton of stuff done! Here to report on a few things going on around the resort.
-Rode 26 rides and saw all 3 shows (although saw RDCT from over by the Mad Tea Party) between the hours of 8AM and 11PM.
-Used 8 sets of FP, but picked up 9...Indy was broken down at the end of the day so we didn't use those. Through a lot of FP knowledge, I had 2 sets of FP for Space, and one for each of the following: BTMRR, Roger Rabbit, Soarin and WoC all before 10AM. Then by about 1PM, we also had 2 sets of ToT FP and a set of Screamin ones too.
Definitely helped on a day that had Space wait times of 85+ min and ToT was about 60.
-Rode Storybookland Canal Boats for the first time in a few years. It was great. Our storyteller was so much fun!
-The Little Mermaid Building looks AMAZING! (see pic below) I'm really excited for it to open in a couple months!
-I finally experienced a TSMM walk back. Before 10AM a line was formed and at about 9:53, we all started walking back in an orderly fashion. It was definitely different than the mass chaos rope drop that I was used to. Didn't like it as much because me and my young legs can outrun almost the whole crowd usually!
-Even for being a MM day and a Saturday, the crowds were really low at DL the entire morning that we were there (8AM-10AM) but the crowds were high in DCA when we hopped.
-Would have gotten more rides in if Peter Pan and Indy hadn't have broken down exactly when we wanted to ride them. Oh well...
-Rode Silly Symphony Swings and saw all of the construction going on over by Goofy's Sky School and the new restaurants. They are definitely coming together nicely.
-Tons of cheerleaders and high schools there for music programs. But I knew that going into the day. In fact, I was there exactly 1 year ago for my high school band.
-No more Troncore during WoC, which I was a little disappointed with, but then I guess it has been a few months since it's been out so...
-The dragon showed up at Fantasmic, which I haven't seen the past two times I've seen the show.
Ok, pic time:
Stunning

I would like to think I could do that, but then I would have to stay in bed all day the next day to rest.
