Can't wait to find out where your dinner date was!
You got some great pics!
I really like the close up one of DS on the hammock.
Ooh a dinner date...sounds fun!
Can't wait to find out where your dinner date was!
Thanks!
We get about one date a year and it's usually at WDW!!
Coming up soon!![]()
You definitely need to get out alone more often!!!!
Loved the pictures from your walk about the Poly. I am thinking maybe you had dinner at Kona's?
I'm going to guess somewhere at Grand Floridian. It's close and a little bit fancy.
I just have to say you take some really nice pictures. What kind of camera do you use?
Okay well since I know where you went to dinner, I'll comment on the Poly pics.
That was the hammock that I called you from the time we stayed at the Poly! Do you remember that? It was my first morning there and I called you and said I was looking at the castle. It's the bestest one they have.
Cute pics of little dude BTW. He looks so happy!
What did they get for supper that night?
The Poly looks so small and nice. Pretty sure it will feel ginormous after they get finished w the upgrades.![]()
We just bought ourselves a hammock at home. Your view is a little more magical I think.
You look really pretty all dressed up for your date Shelly! I can't wait to hear where you dined.
Lovely pictures of Poly scenery! Can't wait to hear about your dinner date! I can't remember the last time my DH and I went on a dinner date!
Now that the kids are older we are finally getting some date nights...we were trying for one Friday or Saturday night a month,..but it's been few and far between!! LOL!! We usually get one about every 3 or 4 months..but, this is a time of all our lives where the kids are either to little for it to be steady, or we all have so much going on...hopefully we will all get date night soon!![]()
Love the pics of the Poly!![]()
It is HARD to get caught up on the Dis when you are gone for more than a week!It has been hectic since we got back, but I have been in PJ's DISing all day and I am finally caught up!
That is really cool about DS14 getting into Archery! I can't believe they only charge $25 for an hour and a half of ANYTHING at WDWWhat a bargain!
And what gorgeous pictures walking around the PolyIt is such an amazing place. They somehow manage to make you feel so secluded somehow, but still be in the middle of everything.
That's what I love about the WL too.
I will be sad to see changes come from DVC construction over there too.I heard on a podcast that the Tikiman did that they may be removing the water feature from the GCH.
I really REALLY hope that's not true. I know so many people will be SO mad about that one. The one good thing I heard was that they were expanding the pool to include a lazy river and make the area more like what they have at Aulani. That may be nice.
Happy belated anniversary! Where in the city did you end up for dinner?
And my guess for your date at WDW is O'hana, since you said "close" to KonaOtherwise I would have never guessed that. I remember you saying some of the food there was "funky"
Can't wait for more! I have NO TRIPS PLANNEDand I am missing it like crazy
Looked like a great night! The food does look good.
We are eating there for the first time in July with my sister and family. Should be fun!

OK, well that's AWESOME news about the water feature. I was really sad about it. And, honestly - I am DVC, and I am not super thrilled about the add on at the Poly. Just leave it alone. It wil probably too expensive for us to even buy points/or use our current points there anyway, and I am worried about what all those 'huts' on the water are going to do to the views of the MK.
Anyway, looks like a great date! I love that dress you were wearing, very tropical and fitting for the Poly
Random question: did your server tell you she worked at Eat N Park when she lived up here?? A few years back we had a server at O'hana from our area and she went on and on about how she worked at Eat N Park. She was the one who gave Bob a Lapu Lapu that had a hole in the bottom of the pineapple. It was leaking all over the place, so when we got her attention - she told him to CHUG IT, winked and brought him a new one.
I know you're not a big drinker, so IDK if you've had a Lapu before... but, they are STRONG. I have a HILARIOUS picture of him after 2 of those.![]()
