After lunch we headed straight for Soarin with our FP's in hand!

So we get on the ride and all buckled up and we are all in a row – DS13, DS11, me, DH, and then these 2 young women on the other side of DH. They were probably in their early 20's. The one next to DH appeared pretty nervous and was asking him if the ride was scary. DH was telling her about the ride and how it wasn't scary at all. Well as soon as we started to move she flipped out. She was screaming like crazy!! I thought for sure she must be joking. But nope, every little move the ride made, she screamed some more. She had a death grip on DH's hand!! The kids were like – What the heck is going on over there??? DH spent the entire ride trying to keep her from having a complete meltdown. Needless to say, our whole ride was distracted by her. And that was our only Soarin ride, because the wait time was like 90 minutes at this point and there were no more fastpasses. So we all left there a little disappointed and confused as to what had just happened.

However, I did snap a few pics during all the chaos!

From there we went over to Living with the Land – the most boring ride ever!!

After Living with the Land the kids spotted a dog tag machine and wanted to make one for our doggy Jack!

It was kind of neat, you could see it being made.

And the other side has his name and our phone number.

With that we headed over to Innoventions. I wanted to see how long the line was the the Disney Visa cardholders free meet & greet pic.

Yeah, it was HUGE.

So we moved on. DS11 loves Club Cool so we stopped in there for a quick drink!

Then DH & DS11 went to ride Mission Space. I hate that ride. Makes me ill when they close you in there. DS13 usually rides it, but decided not to this time.

Here's a couple of pics DS11 took in MS ~

DS13 and I watched these guys for a bit and then went in and waited in the cool play area after the MS ride.

After they were done we met back up and asked the kids if there was anything they wanted to do before we left Epcot. And they said – Spaceship Earth of course!!

After the ride we watched our videos and emailed them home.

Then we made our way out of the park and onto the monorail and back to the TTC and the Poly.

Most people get this pic on the way in, but not us. We chose to do it after a long, tiring, chilly day at the park!!

that is hilarious and aggravating at the same time about the Soarin girl!! I have never been on a ride with anyone like that!! I can't imagine! And your poor dh...probably didnt know whether to talk her down or just say Shut UP!!!! LOL...wow...Hate that it ruined it like that for y'all...

I know some people may be scared of height on Soarin', but to the point of screaming at every little movement? Weird.

They have a construction version of the Jammitors???

DH was trying to comfort her, but she wasn't having any part of it!! I think she about twisted his fingers off!!
After awhile I was about to tell her to shut up!!

I am very much looking forward to a nice, quiet Soarin ride next time.

Yeah, I guess!! Last time I saw them they were beating on trash can lids and such. This time it was buckets and tool benches and construction hats!

I know people have issues, everyone is afraid of something every now and then. But honestly she should have just known that she was being totally obnoxious with her hysteria. Your DH should have slapped her. I always hope someone freaks out on me so I can say "Well that's what they do in the movies" when I let them have it.

Spaceship Earth. At least you had a nice ride on that one. When we rode it last time someone video taped the dang thing a few cars back from us. And when our cars turned around the light was right in my eye. Yeah, that was fun when I yelled at them.

Hate Mission Space. It makes me sweat. And I get all hyperventilating. Hum, maybe someone should slap ME.

You know, there are some rides that I probably wouldn't be surprised if someone freaked out, but Soarin isn't one of them!! It was the strangest thing. She questioned the CM when we were getting seated and he explained the ride and everything to her. Then she sat down and buckled in and asked DH about it. Then he told her the same thing. Then we started to go up and she started yelling!! I'm surprised they didn't stop the ride.

UGH!! People using light and flash on the rides irritates me so bad!!! Remember my Dinosaur experience??

Yeah, now Mission Space I could see someone freaking out on!!! Like me. No not really. Last time I rode it I just sat there all silent and sweaty and trying not to pass out.

When you get off the ride there are little computer kiosks everywhere. You just go up to one and answer a couple of questions (about your "Future" that you did on the ride) and then your ride pic will pop up and you can watch the video and sent it home and to anyone!

Mission Space is just yucky.
