I am about to reserve our room. I am going to add my tickets later (prob around the 60 day mark).
I got to the question about trip insurance. I am not adding it at this time cause I can change the room up to a month before. Can I add the insurance later when I add the tickets?
I really like that they have it set up to pay some now so I can save my date. We normally stay off site so this is all new to me.

I always wait until final payment to add and pay for travel insurance. We often buy our plane tickets within 45 days as well, so there is always a chance we may cancel. Once you add trip insurance or memory maker, that portion is nonrefundable.

Just reread your pp; room only reservations don’t allow for trip insurance. Also, as Disney only requires $200 deposit no matter the cost of package, adding tickets now does not cost you anything additional. You can reserve a ticketless package, but I don’t believe those can be scheduled online. You can make any changes up until 30 days out including ticket length without any change fee.

There is a website called Insuremytrip.com that lets you select insurance options, and then gives quotes from multiple insurance companies. It's worth a look.

Edited to add...oh well, looks like I can't give you the website. It's been starred out. Sorry.
