Trip Insurance: Once you pay for a use year, do you have to pay for it again?

Meaning if I buy trip insurance and pay for use years 2013 and 2014 and then travel again in 2015 and utilize use year 2014 and 2015 points , do I pay for 2014 use year on both trips? Make sense? Thanks for any advice....

It covers all the points in that use year. So if you pay to cover the 2013 and 2014 points this year, when you book using 2015 points, you only pay the insurance for the 2015 points.

As an example, we are in permanent borrow mode. I've already paid the trip ins. for my current use year (2012), 2013, and 2014 for our trip this December. My next trip will use 2015 points and I'll pay the ins. for the 2015 points. One year I used three use years...and paid insurance for all three use years.
