Okay where do we Canadians buy our cruise insurance?

I need to get some cancellation/interuption insurance. Don't need medical, I am beyond good on that front.

I'm in the same boat as you (no pun intended!). We have unlimited out of country medical through my DH employer, including evacuation, but when I price insurance it is cheaper to get an all-inclusive package (medical and trip cancellation/interruption) than it is to get just trip cancellation/interruption! I found the least expensive policies on www.tripinsurancestore.com. There are two companies on there that do insure Canadians. I tried both insuremytrip.com and www.tripinsurancestore.com and tripinsurancestore was$100 less with a much better package.

We do not need medical as well ...so for $69 a year we have the annual travel insurance policy added to my BMOmastercard. Which works out great for us cause it covers everyone in our family and unlimited trips per year!!! It gives you the trip cancellation, inturuption ,lost baggage..you mane it..works great for US! We were paying lie $150 per trip a few times a year before we became aware of this option!!!

I just received a brochure in the mail regarding trip insurance - imagine that, wonder how they found out! It is travelguard.ca. I looked into their policies and again the all-inclusive is only $10/person more than just the trip cancellation, but they have a really good policy, with an optional cruise and tour package. Not sure what that involves that's any different than the trip canc. so I emailed them to find out.

does the insurance on your bmo mastercard cover all travel that you book using that card, air-fare, cruise, disney package etc....
