My trip got moved up! I normally travel in September and have never stayed at the GCH. I searched the forums, and here are the questions I didn't find the answers to:

1. Refrigerator at GC? It doesn't have to be super cold, but I need to be able to keep milk and yogurt on hand.

2. Best/quickest way to get to GC from LAX? Or a better airport? This is the first time we will fly to Disneyland. I looked, but prices seemed to be lowest to LAX. If the time to get to the hotel from a different airport is significantly better, it may affect how the price is factored into the equation for us. Is it completely insane and time-wasting to consider renting a car just to get there early enough to check in and get to the parks at opening?

3. Anything I need to know about the month of May that's significantly different from September--like, it rains every day? I do have a Passporter, so I've done some research, but I feel nervous because I have so little time to plan.

4. Is there *any* chance I can find nutrition information for any restaurants so that I can plan my meals accordingly? The better I plan what I eat, the better I will feel while I'm there.

4. I lost weight just so I could go on Small World, and they close it? (I'm kidding, I'm kidding, please don't flame me.)

The panic is really setting in, my mind is a blank. I need to go find a paper bag so I can stop hyperventilating. Thank you in advance for any and all help!

Yes, every room comes with a small refrigerator, and also coffee maker.

Seems like a lot of people fly in to LAX. I'm not too great on the airport info, since we drive. But I do know, a lot of people take a shuttle to DL, if they aren't planning on doing a lot of driving once they are there.

No, I doubt it will rain every day! Odds are it will be nice. I'd bring clothes to wear layers though. Just in case! For example my guess is that the evenings can get chilly! May I understand is a great time to go.

Not sure on that one. There are menus online for all the places though.

hehe Yeah, I'm gonna miss it on our trip in June!

Best advice I can give you is to relax. You'll have a wonderful time!

Yep, there is a small fridge in every room. Plenty of room for a qt of milk and some yogurt.

I avoid LAX at all costs. We fly into SNA and love it. Its a small airport, not all that busy and super close to DL. Grab a shuttle or taxi and you are good. No need to rent a car, unless you plan on leaving Disney property. We haven't yet.

We've never been in Sept, but we have gone in May. It was gorgeous. Warm, not hot, not super busy, and most everything is up and going b/c summer is just around the corner. The hours are a little shorter usually, so plan some time at the pool in the evenings or DTD. Bring a sweatshirt or jacket for evenings, it can get a bit cool especially if you are waiting for Fantasmic or fireworks.

I have no clue on the nutrition info...we are on vacation in DL and that includes diets. I couldn't go without splurging on corndogs and churros. lol.

Sigh...no ISM.

Have fun, stressing isn't gonna help. Sounds like you've been before, so instict will kick in once you are there. Enjoy GCH, it is very convenient and a nice hotel. The only bad experience we've had was when we stayed concierge. Whitewater snacks is awesome! Great place for breakfast.

Have fun!!!!!!

Uh, no it doesn't rain every day or even a little:lmao: I can't say "usually" because California is so unpredictable in weather. Last year May was HOT. I just say bring "cool", light clothes.

4. Is there *any* chance I can find nutrition information for any restaurants so that I can plan my meals accordingly? The better I plan what I eat, the better I will feel while I'm there.
I totally understand! I get the same way, if I only eat junk I feel like junk half way through my trip. That being said, drink lots of water! That helps alot!

Haha, congrats! Yeah, it's closed but you can take the Disneyland train and see how things are progressing.

About the airports-- check Long Beach-- it's often just as cheap or cheaper than LAX and it's much closer. SNA tends to be quite a bit more expensive. We were discussing this on a thread a few days ago-- somebody flying from Seattle was finding only $330 or $370 into SNA :scared1: But when they switched it to Long Beach (just 2 miles farther away) it came down to $217.

Breathe!:goodvibes You're going to have a fabulous time!
