DO ANYBODY ON THIS BOARD HAVE MADE A TRIP AT AN OTHER DESTINATION AROUND THE WOLRD IN A NON DISNEY HOTEL AS LONDON OR VENICE OR CANCUN?
THE BOOK I HAVE FROM DISNEY TALK ABOUT 350 DESTINATIONS AROUND THE WOLRD BUT IT SEEM THAT THERE IS NO INFOS ON THE NUMBER OF POINTS OR OTHER CHARACTERISTICS OF "NON AMERICAN DESTINATION"
MY SON IS 12 AND FOR NOW WE CAN TRAVEL ONLY ON THE SUMMER BREAK AFTER HE WILL GO TO SUPERIOR STUDIES, WE WILL WANT TO SEE OTHER PLACES HOW CAN I HAVE THESE INFOS OR IS THERE SOMEONE OF YOU WHO HAVE MADE IT?

Most of the opportunities for exchange outside of the US will require an exchange through DVC/II. There are no set point schedules for this, since it will require an exchange of a 7 day reservation at a DVC resort at a comparable time and in comparable accommodations. MS can provide guidance on what the point cost will be for these exchanges.
Admittedly, there are not a lot of exchanges done thru DVC/II since most members prefer to use points at a DVC resort, but exchanges are certainly an option of our memebrship. Enjoy!
