Trip #8; But Was It Great? A WDW MAYcation with a side of LegoLand & Celebration, FL!

"not too crowded at all"? I daresay it barely looked like it was open!!:lmao:

Did you generally like the food? 8 out of 10 is pretty good!

So glad DS10 liked Maelstrom! We're working on getting Paige to ride. She's never been on it that we can remember. Sarah has once with one of my SILs a few years back.

Ok I knew that!!!

:rotfl:

You're right -- it was pretty empty when we first got there!!

The food was decent. Average WDW CS food I guess. Maybe a bit better than average.

You've got to get her to ride it!! DS loved it so much!

Yay for DS10!! :cool1: Isn't it great to conquer a fear? :thumbsup2

I love your Epcot pics. Being able to stroll through WS without throngs of people is awesome!

We've eaten at Liberty Inn several times, and it's always been quick, but never as empty as it was for y'all! That had to be disappointing that the caramel goodies weren't very goodie. :sad2:

It was awesome to see him love it so much! :cool1:

Yes, Epcot is so great -- when it's not crowded!! ::yes::

Well since I was the one who got the pretzel I wasn't too disappointed! :rotfl: That cookie & brownie were not fresh at all. I was surprised, everything else from there has been so good. :confused3 And this was even fairly early in the day!

"Next up was China. We were all getting hungry and we took a look at the CS place there, but that was a big fat NO!"

:lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:

You funny funny girl!! Didn't you even want an egg roll?? I hear they're divine.:rolleyes1

I can't believe how empty it was in the Epcot that day--- it looked like you had the place to yourselves!!:wizard:

Good for your DS riding Maelstrom and loving it so much he rode it again!! That is wonderful!! Now to get him onto EE....:rolleyes1

Your lunch at Liberty Inn looked good! I don't think I've ever seen any pics of the food there-- I had read before that it wasn't too good. So it's nice to see what you thought of it. The chicken sandwich I think looks excellent! I'll keep it in mind for Belle...

Boo hiss on the yucky treats. I hate a nasty ole hard leftover cookie. Blech.

Yay for WS!!!:yay:

PS--- Quinoa is a grain. You wouldn't like it I don't think; I barely can eat it, even with my rice addiction.:rotfl:

Nope, no egg rolls here!! :scared1:

It was so much less crowded than the weekend had been! :thumbsup2

He said he might ride it if Belle did! :rotfl:

Liberty Inn wasn't bad. DH's chicken looked good - minus the bacon. That brownie & cookie from Germany had to have been leftover from the night before. :sad2:

I googled quinoa -- :sick::scared1:

Yay for ds10 riding maelstrom!! Sometimes it just bet from a big brother. We tried to eat in china once too. The selection is not good and we like Chinese food lol.

Glad to hear your DS has decided he likes the Norway ride. I heard the orange chicken is god t te CS in China. I love Chinese but have yet to eat there since I drag DH to Chinese all the time so he boycotts it in WDW :rotfl:

Do you not like Chinese? I think we may try Tangerine Cafe this trip, since we still have not made it to Marrakesh yet I think the CS will work to test out Morrocan Food.

Never tried Liberty Inn we usually stop there to use the bathroom look in and then go somewhere else.

Well tell Mr Fearless Wonder to strap on his safety belt b/c if he is saying he will ride stuff if Belle does, he's gonna be going on all of them!!:thumbsup2 Lest you forget.... She is my dare devil. She's been riding EE since she was 6.:lmao:

All right now, on with the WS show!!:hourglass

PS... told you... quinoa:crazy2:
But They make spagetti noodles out of it and those really honestly are good. ::yes:: You can't even really tell the difference in them!

I was so happy he tried it! And liked it!! :cool1:

Yeah, Chinese was a no go. We don't usually eat it anyway, but we were there and I thought maybe we could find something. But finding something for everyone was just not happening! :upsidedow

Yes, now there's one less ride that he and DH have to wait outside for DS13 & I! :goodvibes

Nope, we don't really care for Chinese food. I probably would have tried the orange chicken though.

:lmao::rotfl2:

Yeah, I think he is Mr All Talk and No Action!! :rotfl: He has never even let on like he would even want to try EE or Space Mtn. He did try RNRC and that scared the pants off him! :scared1:

He might try something new IF Belle were there with him and he wanted to look cool...:cool2:

Yeah, not interested in quinoa spaghetti noodles either....:rotfl:

Woohoo for Maelstrom! I'm so glad he conquered it. That's a great feeling! :thumbsup2

Yum, yum on your caramel purchases. I'm sorry some of them were stale though, ick.

I'm glad he did too!! :cool1:

Yes, I will be sticking to my chocolate & caramel strawberries and pretzels from there and nothing else!! :thumbsup2

Sounds like a great day so far! I'm glad your DS conquered his fear of Maelstrom!

Stale cookies and brownies are not good, at least you enjoyed the rest of your treats though!

I'm not sure too many people are reading anymore, but I guess I'll continue anyway!! I know Jodi wants to see some more Epcot. ::yes::

I hope everyone is just busy doing fun summer stuff and my TR isn't getting too boring or dragging on too long! :scared1:  I'll try to get it wrapped up soon!

After lunch we went outside and found lots more Flower & Garden Festival topiaries and continued our way around WS.

Up Next: Anniversary Dinner at the Yachtsman

I'm still here Shelley, and definitely not bored!

Fabulous pictures of Japan, which is one of my favourite countries around the World Showcase.

Looking forward to hearing about Yachtsmans.

Glad you are still here and not bored Monica! :cool1:

Thanks. We really took our time and enjoyed Japan this time. Usually we are rushed into the store there by the kids. This time we took the time to enjoy our surroundings and it's a very neat place!

Yachtsman's is coming up soon. :)

I'm still here too Shelly!
We have been doing summer stuff and it has been crazy busy around hee I feel like I'm non-stop. DS11 was on an All Star B-ball team and let me tell you that was miserable!!:crazy2: Tournaments seem to go on forever!! Both my boys play hockey and it's a huge commitment but at least the games have a starting and ending time. I will take hockey over baseball any time!
I have also been consumed in sending out resumes and such... not one interview yet!! I am trying my hardest b/c I am so scared to move.
We went to the beach today it was lovely- have some peace and quiet now both boys are at friends' houses and DH is at softball:thumbsup2
Love your pics around WS. Now why wouldn't you want that bellydancer outfit??:rotfl2:
I can't wait to go back!!! IF I get a job DH said we can celebrate in Disney!!!! I don't want to get my hopes up though.
